It was beautiful and conveniently located to several shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries. We were only a 20 minute drive to Asheville, Old Fort, and the Catawba River Trails for hiking and sightseeing. The house was nicely furnished with comfortable furniture and was well-stocked with kitchen and bath essentials. The outdoor patio was a beautiful space to enjoy the end of day activities. The house overlooks Lake Tomahawk with a half mile walk arround the lake, the public pool and a playground half way around the walk, and tennis and pickle ball courts across the road behind the house. Our family was a little large with three infant/toddlers sometimes waking up during the night, but the toys in the house werre good distractions in the day time. The weather was grreat, good, and even when it rained we could be on the deck watching the kids play. The adults enjoyed walking with two of the children as they rode their balance bikes around the lake. The kitchen was well supplied and we had all the tools, pans, etc. we needed to cook for all of us. The owner was easily accessible by text and we had a great family time at this cool Black Mountain house on the lake! ##### Marty E.
