The apartments are spacious, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. The wellness area is an absolute bonus after a day of walking, and the breakfast room feels like coming home. Every morning we were greeted by the friendliest dog, curious cats, waddling ducks and a proud rooster with his hen – they made us smile every single day. The mum of the family loves to chat with guests, always with a warm smile, and instantly creates that special cozy, homemade atmosphere that makes rural tourism so lovely. The surroundings are incredibly peaceful: rolling hills, vineyards, forests and quiet village roads perfect for long walks or cycling. The family’s own wines are fantastic – we loved the tasting :-) Everything here speaks of hard work, attention to detail and genuine hospitality. You can feel how much they care. We left with warm hearts and will definitely be back – highly recommend Marof to anyone looking for authentic Slovenian countryside charm!
