The front desk staff was amazing !!!!! Friendly. courteous and helpful. The outside of hotel is in some serious need of landscaping and cleaning. It has looked the same way since we stayed there in July 2023.

The staff was nice and helpful. I didn’t know you had to tell them when checking in that you are parking there and they refunded me the $15 because I was paying for the parking garage every time I left. So remember to tell them at check in that you are parking

Got there with good expectations for the price. The staff was nice enough upon arrival. After checking in, went to elevator, which looked and felt like it had not been serviced in ages, and headed to my floor. I was honestly scared to ride one of the two elevators the entire stay due to the shaking, scraping, jarring, and abrupt stoping of it. My room was just a basic king studio, which is one of the cheapest rooms they had. Even with it being the basic option, I still expect to walk into a hotel room that the room is well lit enough get things done around the room, especially when a well lit workspace is advertised. The couch was covered in nasty stains that had not been properly cleaned. The tray on the ottoman had knife carvings in it and was covered in splatters of food and who knows what else. Most of the table top surfaces had not been completely wiped down. The toilet had not been cleaned, the toilet paper holder was halfway torn from the wall, and I found a used washcloth that was covered in makeup and stuffed still in the shower!! I called to ask for trashcan liners as there were none in either trashcans and they said they did not have any for them! I then had to go to the front desk to find out that the only ice maker was on the 6th floor, which is just information you would think would be given upon checkin. Also I had to upgrade my internet to be able to attend an online zoom meeting as there was no wired connection as advertised and it still wasn’t strong enough!

Convenient.Clean.Friendly.
Great stay. Great location to restaurants. 2 minute drive. Probably would walk to them if it were summer time. Staff was great. All of the employees were friendly.15 dollar a day parking but it is in a covered garage that they validate no matter what time you decide to leave in or out. The breakfast was the only okay but there is a Starbucks right across the street.

Very convenient for the appointments that we had scheduled at a couple of different UAB offices. Everyone we encountered on on the staff was wonderful, courteous, friendly, and helpful! We will be back!

Our room was clean and comfortable but what soured our one-night stay was the uninviting breakfast, self-served and on styrofoam with a bunch of unwieldy juvenile. The food item were likewise not what a nice breakfast on a Sunday might be like.

I had to move to another room because of the condition of the handicapped bathroom & the rotten or rat eaten wood around the fridge. The next double room was ok, but the fridge in this room never got cold! So water, other beverage & food were not kept cold. Two beds & only 1 extra blanket. Unexpected

Clean modernized hotel. But only one elevator worked and from the shake rattle and roll we wondered if we shouldn't just take the stairs. Room was clean and bed comfortable but the ac unit is mere inches from the bed and extremely loud. So every time it would kick on or off I was jarred from sleep. And we were constantly adjusting the volume of the tv because of it. Didn't eat but breakfast bar had plenty of options and looked fresh and clean. The noise factor was the deal breaker though and doubt I would stay again.

Our toilet would not flush on arrival. We called the front desk and reported it. No one showed up to fix it. We had to be at children’s hospital at 5 a.m. so we had to just deal with it. We reported it again when we check out. They lady said she would look into it lol. I l not stay her again

Family of 5 (3 teens), stayed for 1 night. We got a 2 Queen room with sofa bed. The room was large, but the space was misused (large empty area, everything crammed in 1 corner of the room, awkward placement of tv, desk, lighting). Bathroom was super small and not at all what you would expect to see in this class of hotel. No extra linens were provided for the sofa bed. When we asked for some, we were just given a pillow and blanket (no sheets). Staff didn't know how to handle a 3rd party booking. Kept telling me my card was declined and asked me to show them my bank statement proving hotels.com had charged me for the room. Parking is on the street (metered) or parking garage ($15).
