Managed to get a good deal on the Room and breakfast rate through Hotel.com.
Food (although I only had breakfast), service and staff were great and nothing was too much trouble.
There is a spa and gym, but didn't get the opportunity to use them and I'm sure in the summer months you're able to go for a pleasent walk around the grounds and lakes.
The hotel and rooms do look a little dated and requires some TLC, but as this is a golf course it does have that 'golf club' look and feel to it - wood panels, pictures of past captains and other famous golf courses around the world etc.
The room was a good size and generally clean, although the bathroom did have a few cobwebs and a couple of large spiders to keep me company, but other than that a pleasent stay.
