Coming from South Florida, it was too cold for us to sit in the balcony but could imagine how nice it would be in warmer weather. Sitting in the living room sofa you can see many trees around you that it felt like you were in a forest and not in the middle of Birmingham. The host, Young, was very nice and welcoming and very responsive to any queries I had. Plenty of parking spots in the front (side street) and back (private). If you have mobility issues it’s easier to use the back parking as you don’t need to go up any stairs whereas the front entrance is only accessible by slightly steep stairs. The road to the back is narrow and need more careful driving at night (for me).We love this place and would like to stay there again if we go back to Birmingham. ##### Cherry S. The house was conveniently located 20 minutes from where we needed to be. Nicely decorated and met the needs of teenagers, adults, and kids. The host communicated well. The neighborhood is in a transition…but it is a quiet street. Very close to UAB. The house sits up on a hill so the easiest way to access is on the street around back.
