I received parking ticket of £60 when it should be free for people staying in the hotel. When i checked in,I provided my reg details but still get a fine letter. I tried to contact the hotel reception but they are not picking up and can't leave a voicemail. Very frustrated.

2 nights in a row we put a breakfast order on the door for room service. Both weren’t taken. We made reception aware first night and asked for them to check as we will be placing it again to be told ‘of course, night staff can’t do their job’. And woke up to the breakfast order sheet still on the door. Check in staff were so lovely and household cleaning staff very kind. We did enjoy our stay besides the breakfast mishap.

This was a dreadful experience, only alleviated by the exceptional staff who worked very hard to overcome the managements limitations. 2 large groups in dining room and bar. 30 mins to get a drink. The noise level was dreadful and the few members of staff were run off their feet . Very convenient location for M6 and comfortable beds but wouldn't return

Hotel good but disappointed with spa
The hotel is good. Breakfast was very good quality with lots of variety. Disappointed the jacuzzi wasn’t working in the spa as this was the only reason I booked this hotel. I feel a bit ripped off as they could have emailed me to let me know this and I would have changed it

Lovely hotel by the motorway. Nice warm pool and sauna. Loved the breakfast too.

This is a property operating at the lowest level of service available in todays market. Reception desk never manned through the night - no control as to Family Room allocation or "Quiet" areas for guests with important schedules. A hotel now functioning at a level that cannot afford to keep its swimming pool open due cost but still advertises it has one available. I hardly slept due to Children and "Party" adults drunk in corridors throughout the night. No staff available to control this. THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY WHOL;E LIFE AND OTHER FAMILIES FRLT THE SAME.

I am sorry to see that you feel the level of service was not satisfactory.Our pool was taken out of service on Friday evening due to a technical fault that could not be resolved over the weekend. I am sorry if this impacted your stay. The pool is in fact now back in operation.The Reception desk is manned 24hrs a day, so I apologise if you were not able to reach a member of the team to report the noise issue to.While we did have a festive party at the hotel on the night of your stay, I can confirm that the attendees did not stay at the hotel and while we would like to think that guests would have consideration for others around them unfortunately this is not always the case.Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.

Location for what I was there for was the reason to use this hotel. Easy access on the bus or by car. Property wise its ok, a bit tired in the rooms but they were comfortable for the one night I was there. Breakfast was good though, buffet with plenty options. Didn't try the evening meal as had a booking elsewhere that night.

This hotel is on my doorstep and have never stayed here before. It was a big surprise. It’s lovely. Surprisingly spacious and very clean. Decor on par.

Cleaners at 7.20am hoovering the corridors and banging the hoover against doors and walls, shouting down the corridor to each other, knocking the door at 8am to see if my room needed cleaning, the restaurant had a self order system, my starter came out and a few minutes later whilst not half way through my starter my main meal came out, they just drop the food off and go, nobody aske dif i needed anything i.e. salt, sauce etc, very hard to get there attention as they drop food off and go directly back to the kitchen, no personal service, i work away monday to thursday so stay in lots of hotels and wont book here again

Overall a good stay, great facilities with pool, sauna, jacuzzi. Changing rooms boggin and things need sprayed with cilitbang or bleach including steam room. Bedroom was newly refurbished, modern and comfy bed but the corridors dirty and needing cleaned after refurb. Would defo stay again though
