Apartment was generally nice, tidy, and clean. Unfortunate that the bedroom door could not shut in the room with the twin beds (beds stopped the door). It's not in a very nice area. The apartment next to ours had dents in the door where the police have raided them, there was a gentleman in the flat opposite having a very loud disagreement on the phone with what we gathered from the conversation was his drug dealer and banging his fists on the walls. There was also two trolleys abandoned in the car park which we had to pay £10 to use The apartment itself is a bit tired. It was initially cold and took a while to warm up with the electric heaters but fine from then on. One of the heaters churned out a load of acrid smoke until we realised and turned it off. I would really recommend this for a stay in Birmingham and we found it easy to walk to the railway station. Absolutely loads of pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance.
