Newly renovated, Oak Shade is the perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway, as well as week-long vacations with friends and family. Inside Oak Shade's The Queen Suite, you will find a firm, yet comfortable queen-size bed with luxurious bedding inside a private bedroom with flatscreen Smart TV with Roku, and a spacious living room full of natural light with a fabulous library of books for your enjoyment. The library shelves open to reveal a Murphy bed for additional sleeping accommodations. The full bath includes a standing shower, and plush bathrobes are provided. The Queen Suite's living room features comfortable seating situated around a large flat-screen Smart TV with YouTube TV and Roku, a breakfast/working nook, and a kitchenette. Other features of the freshly renovated space decorated in soothing shades of white, gold, and grey, boasts all new furniture and includes a Nest heating/cooling system, key-less electronic keypad entry to the suite, one designated off-street parking space, mini-fridge, microwave, glassware, flatware, plates/bowls, cheese platter with knives, mugs, and a full-size drip coffee maker with complimentary coffee. \*\*\*Pets are allowed for a $150 non-refundable pet fee. It’s on a quiet street with beautiful trees and flowers all around and it’s a short walk to front beach. It was fully supplied with anything we might need and the bed was very, very comfortable. The beautiful tile floors kept us cool and comfortable. And Chris was the most hospitable host we’ve ever had and available at any time to answer any questions we may have had. We took our two little pups with us and they enjoyed the walks as much as we did. There are lots of interesting books on the shelves to peruse and the bath shower was wonderful and even has a seat in it should you need it? The neighborhood is absolutely amazing and beautiful and the houses are extraordinary. It was a wonderful place to celebrate my husband‘s 80th birthday and we so enjoyed this lovely home away from home. We went to Shearwater Pottery which are highly recommend, The Blue Dog Bistro, which had the most wonderful pancakes as you will see in the photos below. Great mimosas too. The Walter Anderson Museum was magnificent and is not to be missed. So clean, so cute. We walked to the beach and walked to the Walter Anderson museum, shops and restaurants. We felt safe and had a blast in Ocean Springs! Definitely coming back! ##### Christy S. We really enjoyed walking to the beach and all the shops in downtown. Queen suit was perfect for us. we enjoyed eating at the lady may and the blue dog bistro. We had such a wonderful time! The Queen Suite is cozy, clean and comfortable. It had everything we need. Plus, just a few minutes walk to the beach or nearby restaurants. This was the perfect place! Close enough to walk to all the restaurants and shops but far away enough to be private and secluded. We were right by the beach and could walk there too.
