The Taylor Ranch Cottage is the ideal location for a young family or a Snowbird couple seeking the warmth and excitement of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It is also an excellent location for dedicated service members to stay while attending training at Keelsler AFB. The Cottage is just minutes from 26 miles of white sand beaches, the excitement of the MS Coast has to offer, events at the Gulf Coast Coliseum, the night-life & casinos in Biloxi, scores of great restaurants and Keesler AFB. It is just minutes from the Promenade Shopping District that has some of the best shopping along the entire Coast. The Taylor Ranch Cottage sleeps four with a queen size bed and a Queen size roll away bed all set into a large modern cottage. With its' spacious bath, well equipped modern kitchen, full size washer/dryer and comfortable living space it has all the upgrades of a large family home that should fit the needs to any family staying for a 3 night visit to the Coast or a 2 month escape for the Snowbirds. And then you have all the outdoor enjoyment of staying in a safe, secure, private and large ranch setting with plenty of open space to walk or let the kids play. There is plenty of space for those "Crusin' on the Coast" guests to park their trailers to prepare for all the activities that take place along the Coast for the events. Beauvior, O'Keefe museum of Art, Maritime & Seafood museums, Biloxi Lighthouse, Mardi Gras museum, charter fishing boats, sightseeing boats, MGM Ball Park along with numerous big name casinos are all with in a 10 minute drive. Keesler AFB is 15 minutes from the cottage. The cottage is just minutes from major Interstates: I-10 & I-110 to take you anywhere along the Coast or a quick day trip to New Orleans. The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood yet just a couple of miles from everything you may need. The cottage is exceptionally clean and well maintained. We have stayed at other places that were very obviously painted, etc by amateurs. Not this place! If I were to find a negative, it was the lack of kitchen equipment and very limited number of tv channels but we were only there for 3 days so it wasn’t a problem. We were pleasantly surprised The Cottage is plenty roomy and very well furnished with beautiful Tiles on the floor and was very clean. We liked that it is in a quiet neighborhood with lots of open space and a fenced in area for our little dogs to run in without being leashed. It is not far from a large shopping area with a very large Walmart which was very convenient for our grocery shopping. The casinos and beach is a hop skip and a jump to get to and takes about 10 minutes to get to them if you don't want to get a speeding ticket. We met Dixie the owner who lives close by, and we enjoyed her company she can put you straight on anything you may want to know while you are there. I look forward to our next stay at the cottage in the not to distant future all being well, as we are both 85 years old and one never knows. For anyone who likes a good Indian Curry as we do, there is a Indian restaurant called Orchid at the junction of Beach Rd and 162 Tegarden Rd the phone # 228 206 1162\. try it out you will like it. I flew down from the Twin Cities to visit my husband who's taking classes at Keesler AFB. I arrived a day before my husband could join me and I really enjoyed the quiet relaxing environment. This cute little rental had everything we could need and is pretty close to everything you might want to drive out and see. Great stay, I absolutely reccomend this place! The Biloxi beach was 10-15 minutes away including a beautiful pier where we spent a day and a half! Some other places within Biloxi we enjoyed were the Casinos that provided a unique experience (we had never been before and visited Boomtown Casino during our stay.) There is the Beauvoir which was the house of Jefferson Davis. This property had a tour, museum filled with history, goats and other animals that were there to view and feed. A cemetery including the grave for the unknown soldier, and some fair booths that sold beautiful handmade souvenirs. We also took a 30 minute drive to Gulf Port to visit the Gulf Coast Gator Ranch and Farm. This was very enjoyable as we got a personal airboat ride to look for gators, time to feed gators, as well as the chance to hold a baby alligator. We also spent two days at the beach in Pensacola which was only a two hour drive with a day filled with relaxing beach time, souvenir shopping, lunch at Crabs, and dolphin Spottings. Finally, we spent a day in New Orleans which was about 1 and a 1/2 hours away. There we went on VIP Tours to see an overview tour of the city and spent time walking around the French Quarter. The house had cable television so it was nice to come home and relax to that before bed. The neighborhood was very quiet. The kitchen was fully equipped and was an easy place to unwind when you are in the mood to cook. While in town we visited two restaurants, Twin Peaks which was good and El Rancho which had an amazing bar drink menu! The only negative I had (which I was informed about the day before we left) was a recent storm messed up the internet. This made it slightly difficult to GPS around within the neighborhood as well as looking up places to visit for the next day. This house is truly special and comfortable! The neighbors were nice, there was a small dog door and gated back yard area our dog could play in without the fear of having her run off. The property owners are very quick to respond and gathered all the requested information within a short time period. I would definitely suggest this house and can see us returning for a vacation in the future! ##### Rebecca H. This was a quaint little place, perfect for a couple get away. It is convenient to local things; casinos, restaurants, stores. Only problem we had was internet service was bad and water did not get hot.
