Very central location, few minutes to trsin station, few minutes to ferries and good breskfast included- croissants,bread, meat, cheese, spreads, yoghurts, cereal and hot drinks all served to table. "The rooms were very clean and stylishly decorated. It reminded me of a luxury hotel from the 1980s. With one exception, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was quite good and plentiful. I wouldn’t have dinner there again. It was good, but way too expensive—as if it were Michelin-starred cuisine. All in all, the atmosphere at dinner was far too stuffy for my liking. Ascona and the surrounding area have many fantastic restaurants, and they’re all worth visiting. Overall, we found the hospitality to be excellent, and we’ll definitely stay at this hotel again on our next visit."

"The location was fantastic, only a few minutes from the train station. Surprisingly quiet with my window directly facing the train tracks. It was very clean, quiet and well kept. Automated check in was great and I never needed to contact the staff, other than to get my Ticino Ticket emailed to me. Make sure to use the Ticino discount Ticket at almost any attraction, and all public transit in the Canton. Big news for cat lovers, there is a shy but friendly long hair tabby in the area that wonders around, always a bonus! "
