It's welcoming and comfortable but what really makes it stand out is the location in the heart of Wanlockhead, Scotland's Highest village, which is only 6 miles from the M74 and only 1 hour from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Carlisle. Fantastic views, breath-taking walks which will leave you deeply envious of the locals. Wanlockhead is also part of the SWC 300. Inside the cottage there is a comfortable and cosy space which provides the ideal home away from home. A living room with Smart TV is on the ground floor. Within the kitchen, also on the ground floor, there is all you would need to prepare meals after a day’s exploring and enjoying your surroundings. There are 3 bedrooms in the cottage. Two on the ground floor which sleeps two in each double room, whilst the bedroom on the upper floor has a double bed. The bathroom with the over bath shower is downstairs. This cottage is ideally suited more towards families. Guests must let us know on booking.) - No pets on the furniture or in bedrooms and on beds. All wet dogs must be thoroughly dried before entering the cottage. We also have an indoor heated leisure pool recently opened in the village and is available for exclusive use hire for up to 9 people. Within easy distance of the M74 and very peaceful. Loved the bold décor. Excellent nights rest , the downstairs bed was very comfortable and the property spotlessly clean. ##### Roderick B.
