It has been restored into a 1 bedroom 1 bath cabin for 2 people. This is a 12-square-foot cabin with a cozy bedroom, you'll find a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. Stay connected with WiFi and enjoy the warmth of the heating system during cooler evenings. The outside of the cabin is cinderblock but the inside is something you will feel comfortable in if you like tiny homes. The doorways are smaller along with the bathroom. The campground was fun to walk around and explore. There is access to a nice paved trail for biking or walking, and the kayaking was amazing. The town of Big Rapids was just a short drive with a super cute little downtown area. I had the best coffee ever at Belle's Coffeehouse. The Jim Crow Museum at Ferris State University is a must see. Even though there was no kitchen, there is a mini fridge, griddle, and toaster. I did notice hot water ran out quicker than what I'm used to, but I sped up my showers and it was fine. Fire pit with wood supplied was nice and relaxing to sit by. Paved white pine trail running right by the cabin was nice for long walks with my dog. The inside was cozy, but the floors were dusty as well as the bathroom. There was dog hair on some of the blankets. The shower was horrible, the hot water lasted 2 minutes before it got cold. The shower created condensation all over the bathroom and the moisture stayed in the walls as well as the floor basically our entire stay.
