« We had only booked for one night to go to family reunion. We will definitely consider returning. The space was very warm and welcoming. It is a great place if you have children (no matter what age) traveling with you. There are games and activities for all ages. There wasn't a kitchen so to speak but had all essential for breakfast and lunch, and a microwave to rehear a dinner. »

« Small but mighty. Had everything we needed and then some. Even had a deck of cards in the dresser. Had 2 luggage racks. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, beer mugs in freezer. Plenty of towels. Could have used an extra trash bag to put recycling in but we used grocery bags and when full put in recycling can. Cute outdoor area. Good communication from owner about local places to go. »

« We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. »

« This location is beautiful! It is very relaxing whether you are by the lake, the pool, or just walking around the property. The fishing was a lot of fun and there’s a good variety of fish. Also, there is a reason most reviews comment on how nice Tabby is. She is a very lovely person! The space was very roomy and clean. It was myself, my husband, and our two kids, and we fit very nicely in the space. I think the coffee bar was my favorite! I would very happily stay there again! »

« This house is absolutely amazing from top to bottom. The view is even better in person than what you see in the pictures. The black stone was a very nice touch and allowed us to cook a wonderful meal one night. The house was fully stocked with all kitchen supplies that you would need. Internet was perfect and I was able to take a few work calls while there with no problem. The property is very secluded and you don’t see any neighbors while at the house! Very short drive to entrance of Shenandoah...

"Nous avons passé 3 nuits début juillet 2025 à Skyland, et ce fut une expérience exceptionnelle ! Notre chambre double avec deux lits queen était spacieuse, propre et très confortable. Elle disposait de tout le nécessaire : TV, Wi-Fi, machine à café, et surtout une superbe terrasse avec une vue à couper le souffle sur les montagnes de Shenandoah : un vrai bonheur au lever comme au coucher du soleil. Le personnel a été extrêmement accueillant et serviable tout au long du séjour, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus agréable. L’hôtel est idéalement situé au cœur du parc, parfait pour rayonner sur Skyline Drive et profiter des randonnées sans passer trop de temps en voiture. Sur place, tout est prévu pour un séjour pratique et agréable : restaurant, bar, boutique, machine à glace, parking gratuit… (Seul petit point à noter : il n’y a pas de piscine, mais franchement, on ne vient pas ici pour ça !). Nous recommandons chaudement Skyland à tous ceux qui veulent profiter pleinement de Shenandoah NP dans un cadre naturel, calme et authentique. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter !"
