This cozy Modern Mountain Retreat is newly renovated with all brand new appliances. You are just a short walk to the lake, the infamous Grizzly Manor breakfast spot, and a 4 minute drive to Snow Summit.

We are pet friendly with dog bowls, treats, and a dog park just down the street in walking distance.

Enjoy the lake, ski on the slopes, or enjoy the nightlife of The Village at Big Bear Lake. Our yard is fully fenced for your dogs to enjoy.

Winter Wonderland

My family and dog had a wonderful stay at this property. It’s hard to find a property with a big enough backyard for our furry friend and this property had plenty of space! Looks exactly like pictures. Whitney was very responsive to our questions and concerns. This was close to many shops, restaurants and a grocery store.

Great location - amazing host!

This was a wild trip for my family. Our intentions were to do a fun trip to the snow after the holiday but wow did it go south 😆 my husband got very ill and our dog got injured before the trip (& he is old) so he was very confused with the new surroundings. We ended up coming home one day early defeated. Hopefully that can give someone else a laugh. WITH THAT SAID! Courtney the host was absolutely incredible. Communication was excellent. So prompt, so helpful and very understanding. The house is in a great location and was very cute and had every amenity needed. I absolutely recommend staying in her home 🙂

Very cute place

This house was so sweet. We were looking for a fenced in backyard for our two cavaliers, and they loved it! Very clean and remodeled house, fireplace, really comfortable beds, and 3 minutes to Big Bear Village. Plus Whitney was helpful and engaging, a very kind person. We're so happy we got to take this little trip.

Sweet and stylish!

Such a cute recently renovated (from the clean look of it) Midcentury modern style little home. A block from the Lake and a nice park and dog park. Also large fenced in yard in back. 5 minute drive from the main shopping and dining drag of Big Bear. Our host Whitney was a great communicator, friendly and responsive. Big fan. Can’t wait to return.

Fantastic house!

What a fantastic place for a weekend stay! Clean and exceptionally well decorated, the place was really well stocked for our weekend trip up to Big Bear. Whitney was super prompt in responding to questions, and the location was just a few minutes to the village and ski summit so we weren’t sitting in summertime traffic. The neighborhood is a bit mixed, but that seems to be true for most places in that part of this little town. We would definitely return.

Really lovely house

Really great stay. Interior decor was really pretty, beds were super comfortable and the shower perfect. Walking distance both to the downtown area and to a really great park right on the lake. Only a few cons, the backyard needs some TLC. Not really a usable space. And you have to drive your own trash out to the city dump at the end of your stay, which was weird that this isn't a service included in the cleaning fee. But otherwise we had a really great stay.

Great location and perfect accommodations!

Whitney thought of every detail- we had a perfect stay! Loved being able to walk to one of the hottest breakfast joints as well as everything in the village. We went out for all meals (except breakfast) so didn’t utilize the kitchen much. Was perfect for a couple’s getaway.

Great cabin!

We loved our stay. Great space. The yard needs some work after all of the storms this year as the fencing is coming down in places but the cabin itself was immaculate. Grumpy neighbor nextdoor doesn’t like tourists (ironic as my husband was born in Big Bear) and complains if you get too close to his fence line. Great park down the street a block.

Beautiful! Perfect Location!

Absolutely beautiful home and great location. It’s off a main road and walking distance from a restaurants, a sporting goods store, trolley stop, and shopping (The Village). The backyard was huge! Perfect for our dog to run around in. There were even dog treats and a food/bowl setup in the laundry room area. Wood and starters were available for the fireplace. Some toiletry items were in the drawers for in case you forget something. There was coffee and tea available. We really enjoyed the foosball table! The place was immaculate too! There was also a binder with recommendations and info about the area. Check-in was simple. Check-out was easy too. Just know you’ll need to take your trash to a one of two locations when leaving. I think it’s standard in the area, but it’s different from other places we’ve stayed so worth noting. The only drawback, and this is personal preference so I wouldn’t lower my rating for it, was the beds were too firm for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Big Bear Getaway

This property was as clean and pristine as pictured. I have major OCD and always clean upon arrival; wasn't necessary at this beautiful house. It has a great location close to park and village. The neighborhood was so-so; a street full of locals, some who don’t care for vacation renters. Overall, we would definitely stay again!

NEW Modern home with all the amenities you can dream of!

Where do I start? This is an excellent rental in Big Bear. The location is short walk to the lake, bark park, etc. It is also a short bike ride to downtown. The house is so darn cute and well stocked with anything you might need. The owners provide the service of a 5-star hotel. For example, I forgot my razor, opened the top drawer in the bathroom to put away my toiletries AND there were razors along with other travel toiletries! The mud room is a perfect place to store your bikes or clean up your fur baby after an adventure at the lake. They provide treats and bowls for your fur baby, so no need to lug those around! The owners answer immediately when you text them and follow through immediately on everything you may discuss. Access to the home is super easy and keyless, so no stress about losing a key. The neighborhood is quiet, shady and the backyard is perfect for your pets to hang out in. The front yard has a 2 person table and chairs to drink your morning coffee/tea and watch all the beautiful birds. I can't say it enough, this NEW adorable modern home has it all. The home and everything in it is of the highest quality, you will not be disappointed...
