They have no amenities or ice machine and are unapologetic about it. I paid $530 for two nights (weekend). The response to my complaint was that this is not 4/5 star pricing...um, ok. I did not enjoy my stay or appreciate having to repack and move rooms at the end of a very long day (and drive from Irvine) because the bathroom sink did not work. They told me they were waiting on the right part and returned with a screwdriver to try and get it to work. It did not work. They did give me an option to move rooms or wait til morning for maintenance... my bathroom sink was stopped up...is that really a choice? I also could only get a small amount of ice because they have small bags at the "front desk" that she had to bang against the wood patio to provide to me. I was told they won't get an ice machine because they do not yet have a lobby. I never even got a follow up from the manager or an apology. After I left, I did text them and their responses are rude and clearly unapologetic. The Hilton Suites (at the bottom of Summit) down the road is a much better option and is new w/ amenities and cheaper pricing.

Hi Lisa,I apologize you were unsatisfied with your stay. As stated in our text to you, our sink was operable prior to check in as we inspect all of our rooms before anyone checks in. We aren't exactly sure what happened, but by the time you let us know late in the evening, our maintenance was not on the property. We do apologize that you were unsatisfied, however, and wish you nothing but the best.

The staff was incredibly kind, and the room was very comfy and clean. The village and great restaurants are within walking distance. Plus, a beautiful lake view! Definitely would stay here again :)

The positive reviews of this hotel are true. The staff are helpful and friendly. The location was perfect, and the facilities were clean. But as mentioned in other reviews, if your room is a bottom floor, prepare for noise from the room above. You can hear every step.

I love the hotel, but the walls are very thin and its unbearable when people above you , you hear their TV and you hear every step they take . We had to leave the room early because of that noise, if you want to be on the third floor you have to pay extra money, in my opinion its not fear for any guest who still pays lots of money for the room and still have a bad experience of the noise coming from upstairs, I am very disappointing, the hotel is in a great area, but the noise is unbearable.

There is a lot to like about the Marina Rivera - location is tough to beat & Great Lake views! Easy walk to the village night life area - shuttle available & complimentary coffee - only thing missing is a small table in the room - will visit again soon! Hats off to front desk staff

The area is good and it’s close to lake. There is no elevator. They don’t have break fast. There is no lobby and they made one of the room check in area.

The fridge doesn't get cold enough, the towels were wet when we arrived, the area felt unsafe, paper thin walls—the people above us were arguing at 3 am and you can virtually hear every sound and every step they take, there was a red stain on the bed, the shower glass needs to be extended out further because when you take a shower the entire bathroom gets soaked. Other than that it was ok.

Friendly staff. Great location. Clean room. Beds and especially pillows are nice. Fair pricing. No coffee maker or microwave amenities. Microwave is first come first serve. Rooms are not soundproof. You can hear footsteps from top floor. Also, the style of the open shower was a little different. I will consider coming back, mainly for pricing and cleanliness.

This place is really close to the village. It is also lake front and has a playground next door. The personnel was very attentive. We stayed in the double bed first floor. Looked like described in pictures. We had an issue with the heater at night. Someone came to help us really quick but we still were not able to work it after she left. Overall, I will recommend. Great option. We will come back.

The check in was nice and easy. The only thing was the person on top floor were super loud walking around all night long. It was hard to sleep, but the bed was amazing.

The internet was not working due to weather is what we were told. Also, weathwr stripping around door was poor, we had snow blowing into the room and cold air, we were tok yired to chsnge rioms so i had to use towels to plug the gaps.
