I rated it 4 stars because the mattresses were to firm for us and the coffee maker took over 2 hours to brew. Dec 21, 2024 #### Ruined trip This review is for Cool Cabins and not for Mallard cabin. We did not book a reservation for Mallard but instead we were eventually provided with this cabin when our actual cabin was not safe to stay in upon our arrival. Although Cool Cabins said they were "very sorry" they put the blame on the cabin owner and said they had nothing to do with it. Although we rented a lakefront cabin, Cool Cabins initially tried putting us in a condo as a replacement and only after speaking with a manager did they provide an actual cabin. Unfortunately this was not comparable to what we rented and it ruined our trip. The rental agreement is a contract, they failed to meet their contractual obligation and we will be taking them to court.
