☆ Traveling in Winter: From November 1st to April 30th, CalTrans may require all vehicles to carry snow chains, regardless of whether you have 4WD. Be sure to check road conditions before traveling. Chains are widely available at auto supply shops, hardware stores, and convenience stores. We cannot issue refunds if you\`re turned away due to not having chains or the proper vehicle—please plan ahead.  
  
  
  
☆ Family Friendly: As parents ourselves, we’ve tried to make the cabin as family-friendly as possible. Amenities include a pack \`n play with crib sheets, plastic plates, bowls, utensils, sippy cups, plus toys, books, games, and puzzles for kids and families to enjoy together.  
  
  
  
☆ Pet-Friendly Accommodations: We welcome one dog only (up to 60 lbs) for a fee of $100 per stay. This fee helps cover the additional cleaning required for pet hair. If any waste beyond hair (such as urine or feces) is found, an additional $200 cleaning fee will be charged. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet, and dogs should not be left unattended in the home, as barking may disturb neighbors. Please let us know if you are traveling with a dog  
  
  
  
☆ Power Outages: Power outages are not uncommon in mountain areas and are usually caused by the utility provider. We do our best to notify guests in advance if we’re informed, but this isn’t always possible. If an outage occurs, reach out to us—we’re happy to provide flashlights or assistance.
