One block up from Boulder Bay, this bungalow has a large front deck with swing, open beam living room with stocked kitchen and open dining room. Three cozy bedrooms with Casper mattresses and new linens. One full bath. Pack n Play for kids, hammock in closet can be hung between trees in front. Thick shades in each bedroom make for a nice deep sleep. Central ceiling fan and box fans available. EV charger included with rental (BRING YOUR OWN CABLES!!) Fireplace is electric, but wood burning possible - discuss with host. Backyard is completely fenced with dining table, hot tub and gas grill. Well behaved dogs welcome. Two beach cruiser bikes included in rental (found in garage - use at your own risk!) Quick drive to the Village and close to all that Big Bear has to offer! The kitchen was fully stocked. The hot tub was amazing. Unfortunately, there is no air conditioning, which means we had to leave the windows open. This meant that the entire house was covered in pollen our entire stay. Even with screens, the beds were covered in gnats and bugs. With the window shut, the house was incredibly hot. When we first arrived, it didn’t look like the cleaning people had been there. There was stuff on the counters and the sheets had stains on them. My first night of vacation I was doing laundry. We tried to take the kayaks out but unfortunately one of them kept deflating. The bicycles were super cool to explore the area. I’m not sure the owners could have done anything to rectify the situation. It really was just nature. That’s why we didn’t reach out to them. ##### Sarah R. Melissa was super communicative throughout the stay and even accommodated an early check in for us to feed our son more easily. The listing was as described and had almost everything you could need. A few things that would make it better: -no soap / body wash in the shower (I’m sure if I had messaged Melissa she would have provided this for us) -not having AC made the place quite hot during the day Overall I’d definitely recommend staying here! ##### Eron H.
