Its less than 15 min from the village and down the street from Stanfield Marsh Wildlife Boardwalk and the Nature Preserve. The perserve is a must visit it has great views and long walking and running trails. The Chateau also has nice little walking trail right across the street, we were able to walk the trails with the grandkids at all 3 locations. The house has plenty of room inside and out . It was very clean and the kitchen had everything you need to cook a nice dinner if you wanted to stay in, dinning table seats 6 and a high chair was provided by the host. Coffee bar was great and fully stocked perfect for morning cup of coffee outside on one of the patios. It has 2 big bedrooms 1 king and 1 queen and a loft with 2 additional beds 2 full bathroom a big living room which is away from the kitchen and dinning area a laundry room is available . We also made great use of the living room it was very cozy and decorated for the holidays. We are already planning another trip up here. Loved that we had everything we needed in the kitchen when we cooked and stayed in. Even many spices to use while cooking. My two boys (8 and 10) slept in the loft which they enjoyed. Big living room area where we had movie night and hung out with the privided blankets. Two big wall heaters kept the house warm and we didn’t have to use the small portable heaters at all. Loved that the upstairs room bathroom also had a heater ceiling fan. The ceiling heat fan in the lower restroom did not work. Dust bunnies on the light hanging over the kithen island. Could use a biy of cleaning. Only other downside is that the shower head in the upstairs bathroom only shot out a very thin flow of water.
