She was in communication with us before our stay and gave some great recommendations on hikes. She went above and beyond in preparing the space for our family—with treats and toys and entertainment that everyone enjoyed. The house is in an awesome location with a great backyard if you want to stay in, or several awesome spots within walking distance (Burns Beach is a 15 min walk and the Lumberjack Tavern is a 5 min walk). Hosts have attention to detail; artsy decorations, games for kids and adults, reading material, wood swing, fire pit, etc. As pics show, decks in front and side of house as well as sun room for chilly mornings or inclement weather. Kitchen well supplied with cooking utensils. We felt very welcome. Lack of internet and poor cell service (our phones are mvno) made communication difficult but who goes to Big Bay Michigan for streaming movies? There were tons of indoor and outdoor toys for the kids and plenty of room for the dog to explore. There isn't wifi and the service isnt great, but there is satellite TV.
