Three bedrooms with king size beds, three bathrooms one of which ensuite, very well equipped kitchen, stylish interiors with antique furnishings. The house is a detached portion of a typical country home with it’s own lawn, garden, shaded outside living areas and barbecue area, surrounded by a lush park with flowers, pines and plants typical of the Mediterranean vegetation. Owner lives with four dogs in the other portion, properly fenced. The property has it’s own access to the beach: a private path leads through the pine tree grove and the dunes to the sea where guests will find a private cabana equipped with sunbeds and parasol. Guests are given their private key to the beach. Details: Sleeps 6 (one extra guest can be hosted on sofa bed) Ground floor: Sitting room with fireplace, leading to outdoor living space dining in loggia big kitchen leading to outdoor living space bathroom with shower laundry First floor: 1 double bedroom king size bed and private bathroom 2 twin bedrooms (beds 90x200cm), beds can be joined, sharing bathroom (unless one room uses the bathroom downstairs) Terrace Grounds: Informal garden and lawn bordered by a pine wood and the typical mediterranean vegetation. Neighborhood The fully fenced property of twenty acres, mainly formed by sand dunes, the Maremma maquis and, further inland, by a forest of oaks and pines, borders the protected area of Bolgheri, in the municipality of Castagneto Carducci. Home to wild animals of all kinds, from deer to turtles, which is not uncommon to encounter, the grounds are now protected as well. The access of the beach is free but it is relatively popular because of the distance of public access. On the beach, about a hundred meters from the property’s gate, you can find a very pleasant small bar-restaurant, perfect for a quick lunch or for cocktails at sunset. The shops (butcher, grocer, baker, etc...) can be reached in five minutes by bike, or in a fifteen minutes walk. Bibbona’s night life does not offer special events or particularly exciting nightclubs, but the neighborhood and the area in general are quite famous for good restaurants, of which eventually you will be given all the contacts. In Cecina or Donoratico, about ten kilometers away, you will find shops and supermarkets of all kinds. OVERVIEW: Tombo lies within the property’s extensive grounds, among graceful pine trees, the sweet-scented shrubs, typical of the Mediterranean maquis estate and the Tyrrhenian Sea’s soft sand and frothy waves, right in the protected park of Bibbona. Unspoiled beaches fringed with dunes, backed by hillsides covered in vineyards and olive groves, crested by charming hill-top villages are the main trait of this part of the tuscan coast. The reclaimed flatlands where cattle used to roam herded by the local cowboys have today largely been given over to well-husbanded vineyards yielding some of the most prestigious vintages in Italy such as Sassicaia, Ornellaia and Guado al Tasso. This beautiful stretch of land which runs along the famous Maremma coastline lies one hour south of Pisa very close to the famous village of Bolgheri and the enchanting medieval village of Castagneto Carducci, built around the Gherardesca castle. An hour and a half drive away from Florence and Lucca, and a couple of hours from Siena, Marina di Bibbona is quite at the right spot for who likes to visit the tuscan famous art towns and villages getting back in time for a last swim in the sea. She gave us so many recommendations since it was our first time, it was so helpful! Our travel plans changed a bit and she was very accommodating. You have your own private oasis and it's so peaceful. A fun walk to the beach through the woods was perfect, and loved having access to the beach chairs when we needed them! The house was perfect, and we cooked several meals together. We loved sitting out on the back patio and enjoyed the peacefulness. The surrounding area was beautiful and so much to explore. Wir waren überwältigt was wir vorgefunden haben. Selbst für unser Hybridfahrzeug war eine Ladestation vorhanden. Der Vorgarten ist sehr gepflegt, wir haben frei rumlaufende Schildkröten beobachten können. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön,der Weg zum Strand ist wie beschrieben, sehr schön angelegt. Direkt vor dem Strand ist eine Dusche angebracht, und ein kleiner Unterstellplatz für die Badematten und andere Badeutensilien. Der Strand war nie überfüllt. Wir waren auch mit den Hunden am Strand, es gab nie Probleme. Wir waren so begeistert, da haben wir gleich für nächstes Jahr wieder gebucht.😊😊 ##### Sven-Tino R. Besonders genossen haben wir das vorzügliche Abendessen an der langen, liebevoll gedeckten Tafel auf der Veranda, das die Gastgeberin uns für den ersten Abend zubereitet hat. Herzlichen Dank dafür! Die Kombination von Strandnähe und Privatsphäre ist kaum zu toppen. Der über einen Privatweg durch die duftenden Pinien zu erreichende Strand ist feinsandig und weitläufig. Marina di Bibbona selbst ist nicht sehr charmant, die kleinen Lebensmittelgeschäfte wie Metzger und Fischhändler machen Ende der Hauptsaison nach und nach zu. Die verkehrsgünstige Lage erlaubt jedoch Ausflüge ins Hinterland, nach Pisa, Siena etc. Insgesamt hatten wir eine wunderbare Woche, die wir sehr genossen haben. ##### Cecile B. The estate itself is in the midle of a pine forest. The detached house is surrounded by a well maintened park. Park is surrounded by a forest which reaches to the sea. Desi is a perfect host: she was waiting for us with fruits, wine mozzarella etc. If we neded anything she was busy to prove it. Desideria ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin und hat für uns eine leckere Lasagne vorbereitet, damit wir am 1.Tag nicht noch kochen müssen. Ausserdem hat sie Früchte, Gemüse, Milch, Wein und vieles mehr als Willkommensgeschenk für uns bereitgestellt - super lieb! Sie wohnt gleich neben an und ist somit allzeit da, wenn man Fragen hat oder Tipps benötigt. Der Garten ist riesig und sehr gepflegt und die Sitzplätze sind sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Durch den Pinienwald gelangt man via Privatzugang zum Strand. Dieser war praktisch menschenleer. Neben an hat es eine Bar/Restaurant, diese hatte aber nur noch an unserem ersten Wochenende geöffnet und danach war wohl Saisonschluss. Marina di Bibbona ist ein sehr kleiner Ort, welcher nicht sehr viel zu bieten hat. Es hat zwar diverse Restaurants aber keine Läden für eine Shoppingtour.. Man muss fast für alles das Auto nehmen; in der Umgebung gibt es aber viel zu unternehmen und besichtigen. Fazit: Der perfekte Ort, wenn man erholsamen Urlaub machen will an einem ruhigen Ort! Wir haben es genossen und könnten uns gut vorstellen, wiederzukommen! Danke für alles Desideria!! ##### Laura R. The house was very well equipped, comfortable and clean with interesting books. Desi was very welcoming and taught my daughter Lucy how to make parmigiana and pesto which we are eating on a weekly basis now we are back home. The trips to the beach were greatly enhanced by the easily accessed and plentiful beach furniture. ##### David M. Es war einfach draumhaft. Jeder von uns hat seinen Platz gefunden wenn er für sich sein wollte. in der Lounch vor dem Haus haben wir uns alle getroffen, wenn wir Gesellschaft gesucht haben. Es war alles, aber wirklich alles da, was man brauchte. Das Meer war herrlich und wirklich zu Fuss schnell ereichbar. Dass man noch Liegestühle und Sonnenschirme vor dem Eingang zum Strand mitnehmen konnte war sehr komfortabel. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein herzliches Dankeschön geht auch an Desi. Séjour de 8 nuits en juillet 2018 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Elsbeth B. 12 juill. 2018 #### Wunderschönes Haus inmitten eines herrlichen Pinienwaldes, zu Fuss zum Meer Die Beschreibung des Hauses und der Umgebung stimmt mit der Wirklichkeit absolut überein. Wir durften in einem gepflegten, geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus wohnen. Die Küche ist hervorragend eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr sauber und funktioniert bestens. Die Betten sind sehr gut und es hat genügend Bett, Bad- und Strandtücher. Die Aussenbereiche sind sehr inspirierend, zum Essen, Lesen und zusammen glücklich sein. Das Haus liegt in einem Pinienwald, die Natur ist Gestalter der Pinienformen, der Duft in dieser herrlichen Natur ist betörend. Ein kurzer Weg führt direkt zum Strand, Liegen und Sonnenschirme sind vorhanden, das Meerwasser ist sauber. Wir fühlten uns die Woche sehr frei, sicher und glücklich. Desideria, die Vermieterin ist eine überaus grosszügige Frau. Ihr diskrete Art trägt viel zum Wohlsein bei, ihre Hilfsbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit sind wunderbar. Desideria hat die Häuser mit Passion umgebaut, eingerichtet und dekoriert. Mir der gleichen Passion ist sie Gastgeberin, vielen herzlichen Dank. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen. ##### Elsbeth B.
