The house came appointed with everything you'd need--from towels to all the cooking amenities needed. 2 SUPs and 2 kayaks made for easy enjoyment of the lake that is mere steps away. The beds were comfy and the house was clean and well stocked. It was close to sleeping bear dunes and other places to hike or swim. The house comes with kayaks and paddle board’s but no life vests so we were not comfortable with the kids using them. My biggest complaint is Vacasa (the management company). When we arrived at check in the front door handle was broken. I called, emailed and messaged Vacasa and could not get through to a person. Luckily we were able to get in the back door. Vacasa did not respond until the next day! We let them know that we could not use the front door and they said they would send someone out to fix it. 4 days later, the morning we are checking out, a maintenance man calls to come fix it. The house is great, but if you have any problems or need a quick response, Vacasa will not be helpful and whoever you do eventually speak to has most likely never been to the house or the area. ##### audrey u. Perfect launching point for all things in the area. New to the rental market I would suggest that the secondary cabin have air conditioning added to improve comfort and air flow. The property had a couple kayaks and paddle boards to use on the lake. The location of the house isn’t far from Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes and other fun attractions. The house is very comfortable and relaxing. I would have given five stars but the property has a rodent problem that the owners are currently addressing and there are a few recommendations that I’m sure they will address this being a new property rental for them. ##### Candice B.
