« I booked this apartment because the description said it was within walking distance of Sandwich town centre, and the map that was displayed prior to booking indicated it was located off Moat Sole in Sandwich town centre. It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! I have restricted mobility and needed to be closer to the town so I asked if I could cancel....
« Does the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays. »

While the general cleanliness of the room was acceptable at first glance, it was clear that a thorough deep clean hadn’t been done in a long time. When my partner accidentally dropped an earring under the bed, what we found underneath was quite unhygienic.
Noise was another major issue. There were young guests in the room above us, drinking and jumping around with their friends until 2 AM, which made it very difficult to sleep.
As someone who travels frequently, I expected a much better experience—especially given the price. The view was fine, but nothing special. Overall, I found the hotel to be overrated and not worth the cost."
