"Location is fantastic but more than anything, I LOVE this room (403). Very spacious, comfortable bed, clean wide tub (no bathfitters), TV swivels so you can watch from couch or bed, but the best part is the small window. It opens to let in fresh air and my allergies really appreciate that.Other rooms here have balconies. Nice friendly staff. Thank you!"

"I don't have enough words to praise this place. First of all, the family who runs it is the nicest, friendliest family ever! They treat the guests so well. Feel free to ask for anything. If they can't get it they will know where to send you. The rooms themselves are absolutely lovely with stone walls inside and out. The only thing I didn't love is that the bathroom walls are a bit translucent but it's a preference. Note that you need to climb stairs to get to the rooms. The rooms are at a complex over the families supermarket and a little area where you can relax in the evenings with a drink and hookah. There is also a balcony where we had some of our meals. The area is busy so make sure you send them a message before you arrive and they'll arrange parking. And just in general - watch out for the cars, it's intense. I would definitely come here again! "

"The Schumacher is a fantastic hotel, in a beautiful setting (the middle of a small, private park) . . . the staff was super friendly and always helpful . . . a perfect location for seeing the German Colony / downtown areas of Haifa . . . our stay at the Schumacher could not have been better!! "
