### Chalet Tourmaline - Charming Newly Built Chalet

Welcome to Chalet Tourmaline in Bethel, ME. This show-stopping mountain house is brand-new construction and was completed in 2020. Highly attractive and extremely comfortable with all the bells and whistles; this one has a lot to offer.  
  
The property is located across the road from the Bethel Inn Golf Course on Songo Pond Road. With a new trail in the back yard, you will have direct access to Bethel Village Trails and Gould Academy's trail system. Why visit Bethel and drive to a trailhead when you could run or bike right from the house?  
  
Downtown Bethel is located one mile away and this welcoming community offers restaurants, bars, a bakery, and small shops. It's the perfect size to experience small-town charm while casually enjoying a change from your norm.  
  
The house features an expansive deck and a four-bedroom floor plan complete with two master suites.  
  
Upon entering the house, you will find a rustic mudroom with custom cubbies made with live-edge wood. This space is essential in keeping your vacation organized and hassle free while you prepare for a day on the slopes.  
  
The classic great room features soaring ceilings with a river-rock mantle and two-story fireplace. The sprawling space is bright with a wall of windows, patio door, and picture windows along the second story of the vaulted wall. Enjoy each other's company as you gather around the dining table or kitchen island. With a large and comfortable sectional in the living room, there is space for everyone.  
  
Also, on the main level is a half bath for guests and a master suite featuring a tiled shower and double vanities. This suite is furnished with a king-size bed, a dresser, a television, a walk-in closet, and a private bath.  
  
Upstairs there is a second suite which is furnished with another king bed, a dresser, a television, and walk-in closet. It is as equally impressive as the main level master. This level provides an open loft to the great room below which is furnished with two twin beds and a shared end table.  
  
Downstairs in the lower level, you will find two more modest size bedrooms with a shared bathroom and a bonus recreation area for lounging. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, a twin, and a closet and the second is furnished with two sets of twin bunk-beds.  
  
The rec-room is arranged with a couch, a large television, and a foosball table. This room has exterior access which opens directly to the covered hot tub and provides a tiled floor area for snowy feet to run inside.  
  
A bonus of your stay at this newly constructed home is that everything is shiny and fresh including the appliances and furniture. If you are looking for a spacious, quality, and clean home-away-from-home that's convenient to trail access, skiing at Sunday River, and within one mile of Bethel Village,  
this is the option for you!

It was our first trip to Sunday river and we really enjoyed it. The house was very cozy and very close to the mountain. Fully stocked with all you need to cook if you want and be comfortable. The realtor helped us find great places to eat, and helped us navigate other places in the area since we were not familiar. We appreciated the service.

My friends and I had a great stay at this property! Very secluded, quiet, and plenty of space for all of us to hang out, relax and sleep. Kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and the hot tub was large and kept temperature. 10 minute drive to Sunday River mountain for skiing. Mark was very responsive and kind to reach out before our arrival to let us know what to expect with forecasted extreme temperatures. Would go back in the future! Thank you for a great stay!

All the pictures and reviews of the property are spot on. Close enough to downtown if you forget any supplies, under 15 mins to the mtn, hot tub working and clean, enough space to accommodate larger groups and privacy as the house is set back from road a bit. The foosball table is a cheap knockoff but can’t fault them for trying to fit a game downstairs to occupy the kids while the adults get dinner ready upstairs. Love this place and will rent again next year if we make it back to Sunday River.

The house was great. We were a group 6 adults ages 30-62. We were there to ski for 4 days. The house is just as it appears online. It's new and very clean and very well stocked. We did not need to buy any supplies. The appliances and main TV worked fine. (I did not test the bedroom TVs.) The beds were very comfortable. The location was convenient to Main St Bethel and Sunday River. We would gladly stay there again if we return to Bethel. All communication was online and went smoothly.

Beautiful sunny and very clean chalet! They layout was great and the hot tub was a wonderful treat after a day of skiing. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Very enjoyable weekend and we hope to return next year!

We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. House was clean and spacious. Hot tub was perfect size which was important to us since we ran Tough Mountain. Definitely needed to soak our aching muscles. We highly recommend for a big group.
