This is home base for those who languish by the pool, want steps to the unspoiled beach or seek a water oriented setting. Come with high expectations. The house is offered on a limited basis, primarily during the peak season and select holiday periods. It is maintained to the standards of a second home, not a public vacation rental. We not only maintain, but return a large portion of rental income each year to improve the home and our client's experience stay. Start your day in the bay front, screened in porch area, enjoying your beverage while watching the waterfowl play in the bay. A large kitchen with island creates not only an easy stop for breakfast, but a gathering place - coupled with the open floor plan, every seat in the public areas of the first floor enjoy the unspoiled bayfront view through four sliding glass doors. A new composite deck system spans the entire rear of the home, making for the perfect barbeque lunch - of course, gas grill and propane furnished and ready. Chaise lounges and bistro tables supplement the outside seating for everyone's use throughout the day. Not one, but two oversized master bedrooms each with king sized beds and walk in closets are available to the guests - each with their own private bathroom. Second floor, front bedrooms enjoy the tranquility of a natural lagoon within 50 feet of the home. Throughout the day, birds and other wildlife are seen in their natural habitat. We hope we have thought of everything ... So our guests never have a disappointment, a beach buggy, complete with cooler, large storage area and rack with five beach chairs are available for guest use. While only 250 steps from the home to the unspoiled beach, you may also concede to the large, uncrowded pool located within a one-minute walk of the home. Plenty of chaise lounges, tables and sunbrellas along with professional landscaping offer a lazy oasis from reality. The community supports only 21 luxury homes, so amenities are never crowded. Our home sits on nearly a one-half acre parcel, with large, professionally manicured rear year - perfect for volleyball or any family oriented game. The proximity to the towns of Bethany, Dewey and Rehoboth are reachable by bike or by vehicle and support the lifelines of McDonalds as well as one of a kind bistros and casual, fine dining venues. Delaware is home to tax free shopping and the three large outlet malls offer plenty of upscale furnishings, designer clothing (Michael Kors, Coach, Underarmor to name a few). The Indian River inlet marina offers: \- charter boat fishing \- launch for private vessels and watercraft \- a marina store where you can choose the catch coming off the boat, have it filleted and bring it home for dinner with minutes. Expect more when you are our guests. We provide all paper products (paper towels and t-paper) as well as hand soap, dishwasher and detergent. Each bedroom has a bathroom which is also a big plus. The kitchen is stocked with the basics and the big kitchen table is terrific for eating as well as for just gathering. The property manager was accessible, responsive, and helpful both before and during our stay. We lucked out with great weather which added to us all enjoying our stay. We especially liked the generous amount of common area space inside and outside (deck & screened in porch) to accommodate our large group. Bob was quickly responsive to any questions or issues that arose. The only drawback was the highway crossing to get to the beach was quite busy at times without a crossing light though it might have been worse during the July 4th week. Lovely, well stocked house, with great views was very comfortable. The neighborhood is safe and was perfect for teaching our grandson to ride a bike. The beach is 1 minute drive with ample parking. The homeowner was responsive and helpful. We would go again. ##### michael r. The photos did not capture how spacious and open the home is. Truly, this is a beautiful property. Stunning views thought out. It was very clean. The location is perfect. We were able to go down to Ocean City, Fenwick, and up to Rehoboth with no traffic issues and come back to the quiet retreat that is this area. Having the use of beach gear was such a help and being a very short walk (doable with over 4 children all under the age of 10) from the beach was lovely. We would book this property again in a heartbeat. The owners take great care of it and it shows. ##### Natalie G. Beech is across the street and fairly easy to reach by foot. Home has a great kitchen with everything at your disposal and bedrooms and bathrooms are clean, well appointed with some great views. We enjoyed the home cooked meals made in the well equipped kitchen. The beach across the highway is not over crowded at all. Enjoyed the community pool too. Close to the Bethany Beach town center for shopping and ice cream. Made the short trip to OC Maryland and Fenwick Island for some other excursions. Bedrooms all have private bathrooms/toilets. There were ten of us, ranging in age from 5 to 75 and it was perfect for each. Two of the adults had to work remotely for part of the time, but their views from the deck while working were lovely. Plenty of room to spread out. Well equipped kitchen. Quick stroll to the community pool. Walkable to the beach, although with caution crossing the road. Beautiful community.The owner always responded promptly to questions or concerns. ##### Karen S. The house has a nice water view from the large screened porch just off the kitchen and from one of the upstairs bedrooms (unfortunately not the master, although it also has a decent view including of sunset). The house is well stocked. The location allows easy travel to either Bethany or Rehoboth. The community swimming pool is near the house and is clean and never crowded. In an extra nice touch, the homeowner supplies many household necessities including things like handsoap, toilet tissue, dish soap, etc. We paid the reasonable fee charged for linens and the beds were made up in advance with soft, comfortable sheets, something we have experienced in other places but never before in Rehoboth. The towels included in the fee were full sized, soft and fluffy. The owner provided clear and complete information and instructions and even included a checkout form for communicating anything needing attention and indicating any supplies needing to be replenished. This impressed us as a real effort to maintain the many things that made the house a comfortable, easy home base for our family. ##### Wendy S. We enjoyed peace and quiet and plenty of space. The screened-in porch and the view of the water was amazing. The home was well-stocked with everything we needed. The location was drivable to Dewey, Bethany, Rehoboth, Fenwick Island, and Ocean City. There was not much to do in walking distance. The walk to the beach wasn’t long, but we had to cross a major highway without a pedestrian walk. It wasn’t an issue for 6 adults. The beach was not crowded at all. We did not use the pool, but we never saw anyone in it. Bob always responded promptly. We would strongly recommend this property. ##### Beth B. Our family couldn’t have been more comfortable in this home equipped with every thing you might need . Across the street from the beach and complex had a pool that we also enjoyed.
