Located within 30kms from the hubs of Leongatha & Korumburra & smaller towns of Koonwarra, Meeniyan & Mirboo North The area is the gateway to such picturesque destinations as Wilsons Promontory, Mt Worth State Park, Tarra Bulga National Park The space Our awesome previous reviews can be viewed in our photos :) Berrys Creek Farm Stay is situated on the same residence as the owners home, though you would never know as the cottage is fully self-contained and accessible by a separate driveway off the main entrance, therefore keeping the property separate. Sleeping 6 people comfortably over 3 bedrooms (3 × queen beds, we also have a porta cot available) with beautiful linens to ensure a heavenly sleep. There is a large open kitchen and dining space located off the living area, with a fully equipped kitchen so you never have to leave the property if you don’t want to. The lounge room is very spacious with two couches, arm chair and two bean bags, a TV, DVD player with a selection of movies, and board games to keep you entertained. Heating and cooling provided by way of two split systems will ensure you are never too hot or cold. The beautiful deck faces out north and is set up with an electric BBQ, table and stools. Overlooking the stunning rolling hills, this would be the perfect spot to wake up with your morning coffee, or wind down with a wine. (Please note that the property is wheel chair accessible but not marketed as disabled friendly.) Guest access Guests are free to roam the lovely gardens to the front of the cottage, although please keep in mind the main residence is quite close, so please try and avoid walking too close in their private garden area. Depending on the time of year, guests are invited to stroll through the orchid and pick berries & fruit from the various fruit trees. Whilst at the orchid, guests can collect eggs from the chook house - Perhaps for breakfast with a side of bacon & avo the next morning? Other things to note Whilst we think there is nothing better than switching off from our phones and social media every so often, Phone reception is available - Though best supported by Telstra. Wifi is not available so please bring your own portable devices should you require internet. No smoking inside the house. Smoking is allowed outside, though in consideration to the environment we ask that you dispose of your butts in the containers provided. The cottage is spacious and private with a view of rolling hills and cows. I did not realise it lacked wifi, it is in the description I overlooked. I only would have liked it as we wanted to look up stuff to do. There were not many brochures on the area. The description also stated a hot tub but it does not have that. There are DVDs and tv, no netflix. The kids enjoyed having a bedroom each. We encountered a rainy day so the boardgames were welcome. The owners dogs are very cute and friendly and we loved them coming to visit. The kids liked visiting the chickens to check for eggs.
