This property should NOT be listed on Expedia as a "Hotel". When I searched it was listed as a hotel and my documents printed also stated hotel. It is NOT a hotel, it is a rental unit. We paid in advance IN FULL for 2 nights and when we arrived that evening, we could not locate the property, no sign no lights, when we did finally after 25 mins of walking the streets it was locked up tight, no staff. Eventually the owner showed up and we had to place a $400 Euro deposit on top of our payment to get the door code! Once inside, it was a cottage, old furniture and a steep staircase the was not safe up to the bedrooms. Upstairs was clean, new bathroom, in the bedroom the bed had a comforter and 2 decretive pillows. No sheets, No sleeping pillows, and a sign on the bathroom wall stating that it is a rental not a hotel and to buy your own toilet paper! Oh and there is a church half a block away and the bell tower rings on the hour, 15, 30 and 45 all day and night and for a special treat at 7 am in rings not stop for at least 2 mins, and you'd swear it is outside your window. This is not in the description on line, this guy is using Expedia to capitalize on a rental unit in a small town and passing it as a hotel room. If you want a cottage its a great place so long as you want to fill your suitcase with bedding and climb a ladder to get to your bedroom.
