This small community is home to lobster fishermen, artists, and nature lovers, creating a laid-back and authentic Maine atmosphere. The nearby Goose Cove and Seal Cove areas provide stunning water views, perfect for kayaking, wildlife watching, and enjoying serene sunsets over Blue Hill Bay.  
  
With its unspoiled landscapes, local maritime heritage, and tranquil setting, West Tremont is a hidden gem for those seeking a quieter, more secluded experience on Mount Desert Island.

\-The unit is setup as a Studio Loft with no walls or door closing off the upstairs bedroom space to the rest of the home  
  
\-The property has 3 different units on it, each with their own secluded   
outdoor space but they share the same walking path down to the Ocean off of the parking area  
  
\-The beach is composed of small rocks like most of Maine Coastline and is not a sand beach  
  
\-The beach itself is on Conservation Land owned by the State and you may see people from the 2 neighboring units accessing the beach  
  
\-The front porch in the photos faces the parking area and the 2 balconies face the water  
  
\-Grills are available for use late April until the end of November

Wonderful little Cottage tucked away in a beautiful woods on a cove on the Quietside of the island! Great view from the peaceful deck surrounded by trees! Many great local eats just a few miles away! Easy arrival and departure instructions and great communication by owner! Very clean and updated! Check the amenities provided and save yourself some ! I’d definitely stay here again!
