This secluded 1BR Cottage is located right off the Coast of the Atlantic Ocean with guests having a walking path with direct access to the beach. Balconies off the living room & bedroom are great to sit and relax and enjoy the outdoors. Located on the southwestern side of Mount Desert Island, West Tremont is a peaceful and scenic village that embodies the quiet charm of coastal Maine. With its rocky shoreline, lush woodlands, and working waterfront, West Tremont offers a retreat from the more tourist-heavy areas of the island while still being within easy reach of Acadia National Park.  
  
This small community is home to lobster fishermen, artists, and nature lovers, creating a laid-back and authentic Maine atmosphere. The nearby Goose Cove and Seal Cove areas provide stunning water views, perfect for kayaking, wildlife watching, and enjoying serene sunsets over Blue Hill Bay.  
  
With its unspoiled landscapes, local maritime heritage, and tranquil setting, West Tremont is a hidden gem for those seeking a quieter, more secluded experience on Mount Desert Island.

\-The unit is setup as a Studio Loft with no walls or door closing off the upstairs bedroom space to the rest of the home  
  
\-The property has 3 different units on it, each with their own secluded  
outdoor space but they share the same walking path down to the Ocean off of the parking area  
  
\-The beach is composed of small rocks like most of Maine Coastline and is not a sand beach  
  
\-The beach itself is on Conservation Land owned by the State and you may see people from the 2 neighboring units accessing the beach  
  
\-The front porch in the photos faces the parking area and the 2 balconies face the water  
  
\-Grills are available for use late April until the end of November
