Getting Around: The apartment is very centrally located just a few minutes' walk from Alexanderplatz, the TV Tower, Museum Island and the historic center of the Nikolai Quarter. Other sights are easily accessible on foot or by public transport. The popular trendy districts of Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain and Prenzlauer Berg can also be reached quickly on foot or by public transport. Several supermarkets, restaurants and the Alexa shopping center are in the immediate vicinity, making your stay even more convenient. The S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations Jannowitzbrücke and Alexanderplatz (lines S3, S5, S7, S9, U8, U2, regional and long-distance services) are just a few minutes' walk away. At night in a strange city this was awful, we were tired and upset. We got access the next day. Apparently the door code changes at midnight, what an unprofessional set up.
