The area was very good and close to metro station and attractions. Breakfast was great. Security could be upgraded as in the elevators while the device to scan the key before selecting the floor was there, we didn’t have to do it as when we pressed the button to our floor, the elevator was working without scanning the key. Thus, anybody could go up. When we checked out I asked the front desk agent to mail me the receipt and she just publicly spelled my mail address when many people were around. Cleanliness was not up to par and we could see dust all over the bathroom fan and other places. Glasses that were used, were not replaced daily. The staff overall was very friendly and eager to assist which was highly appreciated.

The hotel location is excellent, close to the center of the city and a 10 minute walk from the Brandenburg Gate and the Tiergarten. The staff at breakfast were great and always helpful. There was also a great selection for breakfast, both hot and cold options. Unfortunately the beds are very poor and uncomfortable which led to terrible nights' sleep. The Spa was also really disappointing and the pool is extremely cold all day and there is no hot tub/ jacuzzi. Overall, whilst the location of the hotel and the staff were excellent, I would not recommend staying in this hotel. The bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on leading to 4 very poor nights' sleep.

Great staff, friendly and professional. Room was spacious but a little shabby in places and a bit mean with the milk and teabags! Lovely seating area around the bar. Hotel is well located for sightseeing .

Good stay in Mitte
It was a nice hotel and in a good location. Good facilities. Didn’t have breakfast as it on the pricey side and we like to go to different places. Shop in reception is good. Mini bar automatically records when something is removed so you can’t store anything in the fridge (there is a very small space to use). If you do remove and don’t have the item make sure you are not charged for it. Overall good stay save for the hard mattress! Would have expected more from the Hilton.

Excellent location
Great location within easy distance of public transport. The team in the hotel were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and in good condition the only negative was the beds weren’t very comfortable but for 2 night stay it was ok.

Not worth it
It is well located, but I was not happy with this place. They have check in at 2pm, I got there at 2pm and it was made to seem like the room might not be ready. Then I got put in a partially underground room, looking out at some HVAC unit, that was freezing. I was not poorly dressed or rude at check in, so I am not sure why I was given this room - maybe it was because it was Hotels.com? Then I came back in the evening to find out this room was over a nightclub. That was the last straw. Then I went to the front desk and was moved to a room on the 7th floor. That key didn't work and I had to go down to the desk some four times dragging my stuff, trying over and over again. I will point out that it was NOT the front desk staff's fault - they were very kind. Finally I was given another room on the 7th floor. My thought is, if I showed up at check in (not early), why was I given such a crappy room to begin with? The condition of the place is "fraying" overall. Also, the prices are just stupid. 4 Euros for a coke, no free water, a 7 Euro "Tray fee" for room service. I have stayed at like properties all over the world, and the nickel and diming here seemed a bit much. Even NYC hotels give you some water. Very kind staff, but I am not going back.

Nice stay, nice pool albeit a little cold. Clean and comfortable. Fabulous breakfast until the last day when most of the dining room was cordoned off so diners were corralled in to too few tables. This also removed the option of being able to sit in the glass domed window with the advertised view over Gendarmenmarkt!

This hotel is beautiful! Easy to walk around from this hotel. Christmas market was very close. Amenities were perfect and the cleaning of our room was excellent. The breakfast was one of the best we have had and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again on our next trip to Berlin.

Excellent location, dubious service
The location was excellent, but stay was not up to the quality expected from a Hilton, or any other hotel at the price point. Had to call room service for hand soap, the dispenser for which was empty for two days; wash clothes were not provided until the third day of our stay, I had assumed like other European hotels they did not exist, or else I would have called room service for them; the inside door handle of the bathroom kept coming off in my hands when shutting; and the shower was placed in the most narrow end of the tapered bathtub at which the bottom was slanted for drainage, but difficult to keep balance in the confined space.
