First room I was offered the bed was not made and room not cleaned. Second room the generators for the air conditioning etc were right below my bedroom window.

Birthday long weekend stay
Our room was in the lodge adjacent to the main hotel building. Standard double room which looked as if had been refurbished. Lovely & clean with lovely clean refurbed bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast good with continental choice & full English breakfast buffet style.

Quiet, comfortable and convinient. Bacon and sausages could of done with a bit more cooking but overall a good breakfast.

Great Location. Tired and shabby decor Holes in curtains, stains on carpet, internal door alarms broken and beeping all night. Corridors really run down.No fridge in room. Front desk miserable and sullen Evening meal was very nice and restaurant staff attentive and pleasant.

It’s ok.
The bath plug was wouldn’t come out. The dial of the plug was greasy. The towel rail was stone cold There is a gap around the door. I had to lay the towel Dow to stop the draft. The fire door was propped open whilst people had a smoke in the evening. And morning at 7 am. I had to close the door at 11pm. There was out of date info in room. I had dinner and attempted to claim the 20 percent discount and was told it shouldn’t have been in the folder.

Left a message with hotel to say it would be a late check in around midnight. Arrived at 23.56 to be left standing in reception for 20 minutes. I rang the hotel, checked in the bar, checked the loos but no one around. After a 15 hour day and only 7 hours before having to get up this is the last thing I needed. In the end I went behind the counter and found my room card already prepared so just filled the form in and went to bed. When I mentioned it in the morning I was told it was tough, the night manager was on his security round so it is what is. When I said well maybe leave a note on the desk or carry a mobile so guests can ring on arrival the receptionist just looked away and carried on with their duties. I really felt like an inconvenience.

The location was excellent. The room/bathroom where in need of a overall. Frayed carpets.The bedding was clean and fresh.But the bases of the bed were dirty and again frayed.Only noticed this because they were exposed and not dressed.The toilet roll holder constantly falling of the wall. And the shower sprayed out in every direction!! And if you wanted to relax with a movie on the T.V dont bother limited channels. Last night not even ITV available but was thus morning.

Thames break needed.
Good size room and very good view of the river. Very quite despite being close to the road. The room was ok, the door could not be fully open because of the return catch. The mattress was very soft and had not side states so had to keep from falling off.

We stayed for one night and found the room to be very nice however when thing started to go go wrong we got a very different view of the hotel. When upstairs starting making excessive noise at 4am and we tried to ring reception we found that the room telephone would not work so had to call with our own phone. After a long wait with the phone just ringing and we complained about the noise we were told it would be checked out and sorted. Nothing was done so by about 6am we decided to pack up and leave and complain again in person to reception to find the reception unmanned. So on the whole we would say this hotel is very nice until you have a complaint in which case your basically on your own to sort it out.

Pleasantly surprised, thought it might look better than it was, but no great hotel, good rooms, great restaurant and bar. Location was convenient and parking a breeze.

It was quite noisy at times but not hotels fault it was some guest making lots of noise at 3:30 in the morning and woken me up so I told them to be quiet
