Thoughtfully designed for families, groups of friends, and your well-behaved dogs, this inviting getaway is the perfect place to relax, reconnect, and explore. You’ll love the location, just 10 minutes from Cacapon State Park and about 20 minutes from downtown Berkeley Springs and Berkeley Springs Park, with hiking, swimming, golf, and shopping all nearby. Inside, the home offers four comfortable bedrooms with cozy beds, soft linens, towels, blackout curtains, large closets, extra blankets, and all linens provided. A pack ’n play and high chair are also available for families traveling with little ones. The open living area is ideal for gathering, featuring a large sofa perfect for movie nights, karaoke, or great conversation, along with a DVD player and DVDs. The home includes three spacious bathrooms stocked with shampoo, body wash, towels, and hair dryers. The lower-level recreation room offers even more space to unwind with a large sectional, ping pong table, electric fireplace, Smart TV, DVD player, and a cozy reading nook. Games, books, and puzzles are provided for guests of all ages. The fully equipped kitchen is stocked with cookware, bakeware, and clearly labeled essentials, along with a Mr. Coffee coffeemaker, kettle, toaster, crockpot, and blender. Coffee and tea are provided, and the kitchen includes an island with seating for three and a dining table that seats six comfortably. Step outside to enjoy the peaceful wooded surroundings from the fully covered front porch, perfect for morning coffee, or the partially covered back porch with seating for six, a bistro set, and a charcoal grill. The Honey Bear House is proudly pet friendly, welcoming dogs with a $50 pet fee and providing two sets of bowls, poop bags, and a crate, blankets not included. They responded immediately to inquiries. The house was immaculate in a great location with tall trees and ponds close by. Would definitely stay here again! ##### swati a. It is easily apparent that a lot of thought was put into stocking the kitchen and well as providing a lot of little touches (extra blankets, games, etc) throughout the house. Highly recommend and would definitely return, if in the area. Overall great place to relax and unwind. As a side note, we did have cell service, but reception could be better. WiFi was there, but we found it to be temperamental (not shocking considering the location). Not an issue for us, but could be if consistent fast access is a must. ##### Iva G. The house is beautiful! It was well laid out, comfortable, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. The host was responsive and helpful. The location is rural (awesome night sky), but a few minutes from 522 and the main road. This is an excellent place to stay in Berkeley Springs. We likely will be back. ##### Thomas I. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. The house was super clean and the electric car charger was super easy to use. We had a great family stay and Melissa was super responsive. The cabin is incredibly spacious, spotless, and comfortable. The view off the back porch is so peaceful, and I had a great time crashing around in the woods on the trails behind the property. A great spot for a family getaway, with room for everyone to have their own space when they wanted and come together when they wanted.
