It offers three-level spacious living, with 2 king beds, and 2 twin beds. The souring windows in the main floor offer year-round view of the Cacapon Mountain ridge. Relax on the oversized deck and connect to the beautiful nature. Start your morning at the coffee station with a K-cup machine (please bring your own K cup), a French press and premium coarse ground coffee. Cook your own breakfast at the fully equipped kitchen. There are so many activities waiting for you in the nearby Cacapon Resort State Park. Hiking, mountain biking, horse-bike riding, boating, swimming, golfing and more. Stop by their restaurant at the lodge for lunch while enjoying the beautiful view of the golf course. Berkeley Springs is only a 15-minute drive. The historical downtown offers a variety of restaurants and is perfect for a stroll after dinner. The cabin welcomes you back after a day's activities. Grab a drink, relax on the deck surrounded by trees and watch the sunset. Have a sweet dream on the comfy beds and clean bed linens. The master suite on the second floor has a King bed, cathedral ceilings and a small balcony. On the main floor, there are two bedrooms, one with a King bed and the other with 2 twin beds. This beautiful home could not have been more perfect! The neighborhood was tranquil and we were right across the street from the Cacapon Resort State Park, which had loads of activities to do that made 4 adult females feel like kids again! We were also close to restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. The house was stocked with everything one could need and truly felt like a home away from home. The next time I return to this area, I will definitely look to stay here again. Joanne was the perfect host and had everything detail so adequately prepared. I also want to give a shout out to her cleaning crew. I accidentally left something behind in the home, which they found. The outside grounds were unusable ie fire pit or pouches cover with sticks,leaves and dirt. The water was unusable it smelled like rotten eggs. Had to buy water to cook ,bath and drink. The temperature in the cabin when we arrived was 87 degrees.Thermostat for AC would only stay wear you put it for a couple of hours then go back into the 80s so each time you come back to the cabin it would be hot again. Could not watch TV it is set up as a third party so if you don't bring the password you set up 5 years ago no TV. and we all know we carry your password around all the time. One of the burners on the stove does not work. The toaster is also pretty useless As for my opinoin this property should not be a rental. ##### Michael H. The house was everything we expected. The only challenge we had was the Nest thermostat kept resetting itself to 88 degrees and heat when during a 90 degree summer weekend we had it changed to 70 degrees and AC. Every so many hours it would revert back to the setting we found when we arrived. We would leave the cabin comfortable and cool at 70 and return to heat and 88\. It was particularly frustrating when it got hot during the night while we were sleeping. The upper floor would get much hotter than the main floor because the AC would revert to heat and 88\. The proximity to Cacapon State Park could not have been closer and the neighborhood is beautiful, friendly, safe for walking, just perfect. We had a very relaxing weekend. ##### Diane G. Some cosmetic concerns did exist (ceilings falling apart). The 2 sky lights in the master definitely needed blinds on each as the room got very bright after 6 a.m. The pipes made a horrible noise while the showers (both upstairs and main floor). The doors squeaked, especially the screen door for the main entrance and the master bedroom doors. Most of the kitchen was stocked but there were some noticeable things missing, like a pizza or baking pan. The grass hasn't been cut in over a month at least, so the outdoor setting was not pleasant. The fire pit is slanted and not very useable. There were ants in the kitchen on the counter above the dish washer. I reached out to the host and the response was "there's a dollar store 4 mins away." Wrong. I'm on vacation, not there to deal with an ant problem. And the dollar store is 10 miles away, 15 mins. I killed a bunch but there was no spray or anything to control them. Kind of sad to get that response, which actually upset me. Overall, the house and yard need some work/repairs for a truly positive experience.The wildlife was nice to see and the house was a nice quiet place to relax. ##### Scott S.
