There’s a great “flow” to this property which allows both intimate gatherings and enough private spaces to suit anyone’s needs.We enjoyed our meals around the generous dining table, and we all were mesmerized by the most fabulous view over the valley. The house is beautiful, and the setting even better. The kids loved the bunkroom and the game room, and we all loved the deck in the morning and at sunset. The view off of the back deck is amazing! The home is fully equipped with kitchen supplies as well as fresh towels and linens. The house was extremely clean and well kept. We loved all of the amenities and had so much fun in the game room playing board games and watching movies. We also enjoyed gatherings around the fire pit and evenings watching the sunset. There is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy some quiet time as well. Our grandson had a lot of room to play and loved spending time in the kids room with the bunk beds. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed cooking meals and sharing them around the lovely dining table. Everyone in our family group enjoyed their stay. The age range of our group was 2-75\. The beds were comfortable which is a must for our group. The bunk room with the t.v. was a real hit with the children. The adults loved watching movies and football together in the game room. The adults also enjoyed a friendly game of pool and the arcade games. The children also enjoyed a try at the arcade games. The only downside of our trip was a very rainy Saturday, which of course was not the fault of our hosts. Their communication was great and they have obviously been doing this awhile as they had everything so perfectly written out that we never had a need to contact them with any questions. We brought our 2 teenage kids to stay and we all had such a great time! This house is spacious with absolutely stunning views and has a little something for everyone. Our kids loved it so much they actually requested that we stay home one evening and just cook out on the grill and hang around the house. We stayed in this home for one week in November 2023 for a family Thanksgiving holiday. The home was beautiful, well equipped, and exceptionally clean. The rooms and the views were attractive as the online photos. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and all of the appliances were in good working order which was an important feature for us in planning our Thanksgiving day meal. The hosts, Jimmie and Katie, stayed in constant communication making the check-in and checkout procedures timely and easily understood. During our stay I texted the hosts two times with questions or comments and on both occasions received a response within minutes. Thoroughly enjoyed the deck overlooking the valley. Firepit area was a bonus - lots of firewood provided by owner and comfortable new chairs. Beds were comfortable - sheets could use updating, but were fine. The game room was fun - truly enjoyed the pool table. This location is close to hiking and biking. Enjoyed Hancock Rail Trail as well as a trip to Blackwater Falls which is close enough to take advantage of hiking in Canaan Valley. Many nice restaurants in Berkeley Springs - with our favs being The local Brewery, The Naked Olive, Coolfront Resort, Canary Grill, Puccini's Pizza is an hour away but WELL WORTH the trip - best pizza and mozzarella sticks around! Try out the Eidolon Nature Preserve just 20 minutes from the house - 4 miles of hiking trails and a cool history to the location. Overall, a 10 out of 10! ##### Dawna W. We were a group of ten, three generations, all adults and everyone loved the house and the area. Katie was an incredible host, the communication was wonderful. Any and all questions were answered very quickly, and she provided us with a four page PDF before our stay that contained restaurant, recreation, and exact direction information. The house itself was gorgeous and very well stocked. We were staying over Super Bowl weekend and brought our own crockpot to keep the chili warm. No need to have done that, as there was one in the kitchen. Every appliance one could need was provided. The house was meticulous, and the gameroom was a great place to gather and enjoy the game, and we all loved the hot tub overlooking the beautiful valley. We can't say enough about our stay, and would encourage anyone looking for a great spot to definitely book this house, it becomes your home very quickly! ##### Jodi W.
