This hotel is excellent. Very clean and well situated. Rooms are very nice and spacious. Breakfast is excellent quality. All the staff- Rebecca, Francesco, Paolo and Luigi are excellent. Their manner is first class , so is their desire to help in all ways. I thoroughly recommend this hotel. Superb

Excellent Hotel, Amazing Staff and Service
We loved this hotel. The staff and the service were excellent. They made us feel very welcome. The breakfast buffet was really good with lots of options. The location was great for getting to restaurants, shopping, and the sites. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Petronilla for you trip.

Peaceful break
My first visit to this part of Italy and I could not have chosen a better base. Very quiet hotel with excellent service provided by a small team. Made lots of useful recommendations. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of buffet food and individually prepared eggs. I would recommend the poached eggs.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in & I stay minimum 50 nights per year in hotels. The staff greeted me as my taxi pulled up and waved from the door as I departed. The sauna and jacuzzi are lovely additions to the fitness center. The room spacious and modern with an adorable private balcony. The courtyard area is a great spot for wine & relaxing. Really enjoyed my stay

This hotel remarkable. It’s beautifully furnished rooms offer all the convenience and quietness necessary for a restful stay, while the extremely helpful and unassuming staff provides all the assistance possibly required. We greatly enjoyed it!

The hotel staff were amazing, helpful, making suggestions, and going above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay in Bergamo. From the moment of our arrival, at the breakfast buffet (and yes, they do eggs anyway you want), and as we explored their beautiful city, we valued their help and friendliness.

What a lovely experience. We spent 4 nights at Petronilla. Francesco and Rebecca were so lovely and helpful. They gave us a good overview of the city and recommended great sights and restaurants. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable. When we come back to Bergamo, we will surely stay here. The location is great. Fabulous hidden gem
This place is a gem of a find in Bergamo. Great location, bus from the airport drops you to city centre and hotel is 8 minute walk. Surrounded by shops and restaurants. The room is brilliant, neat and clean with all the modern amenities and lots of light. Five star clean bathroom and lots of towels! Spacious room to store luggage and mini dining table. Lots of plug points. We loved it. Good breakfast spread. However the star of the hotel is the manager Ute who provided us first class service throughout! Contacting us even before we got there, she is brilliant. We felt like we had met an old friend - she is friendly, helpful and offered us so much time and help. It was wonderful chatting with her and for us she really made our stay so memorable. Thank you Ute, we hope to be back soon.

My wife and I loved our stay at Bergamo. Beautiful little hotel with great service. Uta goes above and beyond and we thought she was the owner. Turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Hopefully we come back one day!

This is a lovely hotel, with caring staff. They consider themselves hosts, not merely service people. We enjoyed our conversation with them as much as anything about Bergamo. But Bergamo isn't to be missed, as well as this hotel.

One night stay in Bergamo
We enjoyed our one night stay in Bergamo. The hotel is conveniently located and close to many restaurants and shops. A parking garage is in a few minutes walking distance. Our room was super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nicely served and complementary cookies in the room were delicious.

Wonderful hotel in Bergamo
This is a lovely hotel in a great area of Bergamo. The staff were very friendly and had excellent knowledge of the area and places to visit. Nothing was too much bother for Uta and her staff. There was a good buffet selection for breakfast along with items cooked to order. Really appreciated bottles of water in room when returning after a busy day sightseeing in the heat. Also a lovely treat in the room each day.

Wonderful small luxury hotel in Bergamo
Modern, relaxed, very comfortable and stylish. The best service we have ever received in a hotel. Very personal, helped by being only 12 rooms. Highly recommended, as is Bergamo, which is a lovely small city.
