It also has 5 bathrooms all with showers and a master with a soaking tub to get the kids all cleaned up after a day on the Sandy Beach. It’s also the only lake in Sister lakes were you can take the boat and dock it for ice cream at the famous Driftwood Ice Cream Parlor or at the Restaurant/ Bar Dockside Dans. The house is actually 5 minutes by walking to everything and anything you might need in town. So when you arrive park the car put down the keys and know you can walk to every Restaurant/ Bar in downtown Sister lakes. We take tremendous pride in our home and want our guests to enjoy it as much as we do but also treat it as if it’s yours. Newly constructed less than three year old 4,500 sq ft home by award winning contractor, Chris Arver. This gorgeous home is located ON the lake not across the street like others in the area. If your looking to rent for a week (June through August—weekly minimum ) or a couple of days (September through May— a 2-day minimum) some weekends on holidays are 3 day minimum such as (Memorial Day, labor Day and Columbus day) this is the ideal getaway home for you. Unlike many other older rental homes or cottages in the area—this home is less then 2 years old and everything is state of the art. So whether, it’s Summer, Fall, Winter or Spring this brand new home is perfect for your relaxing vacation. The home has 7 larger bedrooms (2 Masters one on main floor and one upper level); The first floor master is strategically located off the back entrance. This assures a more quiet zone for young babies to sleep and to perform work duties at home. It has a work station so working remotely from home is easy and convenient. Only one bedroom has bunk beds and it’s oversized the other 6 are Kings, Queens or Fulls. 5 full large baths all with walk-in showers and one is equipped with a soaking tub. 2 car attached garage that our renters can access during their stay. A brick fireplace in the living room, vaulted kitchen area and family room; on the walk out level is a family room with 2 bedrooms full bath; 2 sets of washer and dryers. Beach firepit with plenty of seating for roasting marshmallows or telling family stories while relaxing with a beverage. The lower outside deck is comfortably shaded and has a fire table along with rocking chairs. Two additional tiers for sunbathing, cornhole toss and other games and 3-hole putting green that both kids and adults spend endless amount of time playing tournaments. The kitchen has the finest stainless steel Kitchen Aid appliances-additionally, stand alone ice maker, warming drawer and refrigerator drawers in the center island along with 3 full refrigerators and a mini refrigerator. Keurig machine and coffee maker to choose from how you prefer your coffee. Cold/Hot water dispenser. Air Fryer/Toaster/Crock Pot/Skillet… Sun all day with magnificent sunsets on this elevated view; beautiful sandy beach 50ft by approximately 25ft. One of the few homes that actually has a sandy beach and sand in the water were you can enjoy water volleyball and basketball. located across from famous Round Lake sandbar that on weekends has boating, music and water games all day long. Walk to downtown area-breweries, bars, restaurants, roller rink and the famous Driftwood ice cream parlor. During the summer bask in the sun and the lake enjoying water sports. The Fall season has plenty of Wine testing and Fall festivals a short distance away. If Winter is your time to enjoy outside sports the area offers plenty of snow mobile trails close by and snow skiing within a short ride. Call before booking, so can discuss additional amenities. We also have a brand new 2021 Avalon Catalina Tritoon available for rent. We match the price from the local Marina because we prefer that you rent our boat rather then bringing in a boat from another Marina. We allowed renters in the past to bring boats but unfortunately our pier was damaged and 3 sections needed to be replaced. So any questions about this home please don’t hesitate to ask. We had babies, toddlers, kids, teens, parents, and grandparent. Everyone was very happy and greatly entertained! The location was perfect on clear water lake, sandy beach area, sand bar near by, playground down the street, and multiple restaurants and an ice cream shop! The boat was very spacious and a great addition to the trip! The house was clean and well stocked with so many amenities. You can tell the owners really take pride in their home and making sure it has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Gerry and Liz were extremely accommodating and available for any questions we had. We left very happy and excited to return! The boat and tubes provided hours of fun for the older kids and adults. We also loved using the putting green and fire pit. Round Lake is great - the sand bar is directly in front of the home, and we went to Driftwood for ice cream and coffee. The hosts were friendly, generous and great communicators. Our multigenerational family stayed at this lake house and everything was perfect! The house is gorgeous with great indoor and outdoor spaces- kitchen was perfect to host our big family communal dinners; the beach and swimming area is perfect- nice sandy bottom and gradual depth for the kids! Having 5 bathrooms was fantastic. 3+ fridges and a bar area allowed room for food and beverages for all. Gerry and Liz also provided kayaks, a swim raft, floats, a great speaker to use outside, etc! Tons of room, 3 levels, not counting the 3 levels outside beachside. Beautiful clear lake with a nice sandy beach. House is immaculate, with plenty of amenities at your disposal. Bar downstairs is super cool, with a big ice maker and a wine cooler. Main floor kitchen level has a huge island with another ice maker and a food warmer! If you’re looking to take a large group somewhere for a trip, this is the spot. Breweries, great eats and atmosphere at The Strand across the lake, and plenty of golf courses. I recommend Lake Michigan Hills Golf Club, but don’t try and sneak a 5 some in they’ll get ya 😬 Also the owners were very friendly and only a text away with any kind of issues we might have had, but had zero issues and zero complaints. From communicating to the owners, to the check in, to our awesome time there . . . this was a 5 star stay! The owner went out of their way to accommodate us. They installed a handheld shower head to help us out, gave us some great suggestions on places to eat and met our every need! The location on the lake is amazing. The kids had a great time playing in the lake and running around on the beach. The adults had plenty of space for our sleeping/bath needs and great kitchen and living area for our large group. Gorgeous home! Property was clean, spacious, warm and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms spacious and plenty of room for our crowd of 16 adults. Kitchen is spacious and well stocked. Made it easy to cook for a crowd. The outdoor space is fun and inviting and has plenty of space for relaxing with family and friends while enjoying the beautiful lake view. A reasonable distance getting to and from Notre Dame University in which we enjoyed attending sporting events. Property owner was great at checking in, easy to communicate with, flexible and readily available. An overall wonderful getaway for our family. We had 12 children (ages 3 months-12 years old) and 10 adults. The number of rooms and bathrooms was exactly what we needed. The beach was great for the children. Very clean and sandy just like they say. There was an abundance of towels for the beach and bathroom (not many wash cloths if you need those), silverware, outdoor seating, fridges, and cups/plates. The ice maker was great too! The only negative thing was the amount of stuff in the bedroom drawers, pantry and fridges. The host was very kind to offer anything we needed but there was so much stuff. With 5 families staying for a week, we brought a lot of our own stuff. That added a little extra work. We definitely made due and condensed things in the fridges but it was hard to lay out clothes so we just had to leave it in our suitcases. In past rentals, the host would lock their personal things in a closet or cabinet. It was just something we weren’t used to. That was minor compared to how perfect everything else was! We have been doing these trips for 5 years and this was our biggest group yet! This house absolutely checked off everything we needed and wanted. The kids were safe to play in the water solo while the parents relaxed on the beach!!! We have already discussed going back next year! ##### Dana S.
