![Who puts a Victorian style kiosk at an interstate freeway rest stop? Well, apparently, the good people of Albany, Oregon.  As the sign says, this cute little structure serves to commemorate the more than seven hundred historical homes and buildings in downtown Albany.

I love this little thing, but get a load of the trailer hitch under the front window.  I'll have to start looking for those in some of the older districts in the area. « Lots of room for the eight of us. Teens and adults enjoyed the ping pong, foosball, and darts. The kitchen was well stocked. Fun to take the trails along the river. Rose garden was beautiful. Only one tv and it’s small. We wanted to use our fire stick to watch the college World Series and that was challenging. Overall a great rental. We plan to try to book it again next year. »

« The most spacious and well-equipped apartment of any vacation stay! The hosts, Stan and Juris, were wonderful caring people, eager to meet any need. Stan even sold me what was a very expensive rod and reel (of his) for my grandson for only 25! Kitchen had immense counter space, many drawers of utensils and tableware— and 3 different types of coffee makers. Keurig cartridges had high quality local brews! Bed was firm and most comfortable of our trip! Parking was in his driveway abutting our...
