Good location, comfortable rooms, nice breakfast
Overall decent hotel, located about halfway between the train station and the main tourist area. Breakfast was excellent. Room overall was alright, the only issue was had was the shower kept clogging, and even after we asked to have that dealt with, the water still kept clogging.

Hotel is average at best but good location. Staff overall were nice but as we were leaving witnessed two staff members openly verbally attacking a woman who dared to ask for breakfast 4 minutes early. Both staff members wouldn't back down and continued acting like petulant children. I've stayed in many types of hotels around the world and this is right up there with the worst customer service I've seen. So if you want an average hotel with a lottery of the type of service you receive this is the hotel for you.

In reference to your comment we do not understand the low vote for something that happened to others. As for breakfast, the lady claimed not to make it 4 minutes earlier, but half an hour earlier. We want to point out that during the preparation of the buffet materials are also used at very high temperature, so for security reasons it is not possible for people to be in the breakfast room. Breakfast times are communicated to all guests and are clearly written.

The is a great little hotel. Location is excellent, staff are excellent, breakfast is excellent. Great value for money. so convenient to bars, restaurants and supermarket. The staff have been there for many years and are very helpful.

Friendly, hard bed.
15+ minute walk from the train station, through crowded streets. Then down a somewhat uninviting alley. But the staff were nice and the hotel was good. The shower was very nice (three different water streams: vertical overhead, handheld, and then a combo two-panel option on the wall). And then after walking around I realized that the area isn't bad: one block in any direction is a major street, and it didn't seem dangerous or anything, just unclear the first time you venture off the main street. Nice restaurants around (or apparently anywhere in Bologna). The staff were helpful. I would stay here again except that the bed was very hard, so I might look for another option. If you like firm mattresses, then stay here. If you want something soft, this isn't it. Felt like a box spring. OK for one night.

aside from a couple of undiplomatic "rules" the hotel was a nice. The couple of threatened "fines" for not bringing tv remote and room key at check-in, in addition for low-life guests scavenging away breakfast items in personal rooms seemed a bit to evoke a high-school discipline to this fine hotel. Seems it could be better addressed. Such language takes away from what should be a more of diplomatic approach. I liked the hotel , breakfast was nice. Good hotel.

Room had a nice smell when you walked in. It included a mini bar and kettle and room was clean and cool (outside was very hot). Hotel is a very close walking distance from the main town centre. Just get the aerobus to the city centre and its a 5min walk to the hotel. Also included breakfast. No complaints really

The hotel position is in the centre of bologna which is very good the staff is so miserable especially the breakfast staff not even good morning you get from them and the breakfast it self is terrible no fruits except old apples no toast no toaster is on and everything's is cheep food especially the cheese which you can't eat .anyway this is our first time to this hotel and certainly will be the last.

Although everything in this hotel is small (reception desk, lobby, tables for breakfast, shower), this hotel has very good value for money. It is clean, has excellent location, staff friendly. Not much to choose for breakfast but it is tasty and keep in mind this is a 3* hotel. I would absolutly recommend it for a short stay in Bologna.

Simple, good value hotel very close to the centre
The hotel is looking a little worn, and rooms are on the small side but it is clean, everything you need is provided and there are tea making facilities in the room - something rare in Italy. Breakfast is good, but the breakfast area a little cramped. All in all, the hotel provides good value, and a location right in the centre of Bologna: a bargain at the price.

Part of a sightseeing trip we had put together. Hotel location was excellent as we're the staff. Tea and coffee facility. Good breakfast. Sturdy comfortable shoes with good sole are a must for walking around.

What a Holiday!
Though unimposing on the outside, this little gem is situated no more than 8 mins walk from the centre of the city, the Piazza Maggiore. Access to dozens of fine restaurants/bars is just a few streets in any direction as is a host of cultural places of fascination. We found the hotel staff friendly and helpful (Roberto! Giuseppe!) and understood our struggling Italian conversation. The room was cosy but clean and air conditioned and breakfast very fair at this price point. Endless coffee too! We have no complaints at all and would cheerfully visit again.

This hotel was exactly what we expected if your looking for something on a budget. Our room was clean and tidy all be it very basic but that was what we expected. Great location everything worth seeing easily within walking distance and the hotel itself was off a side street so quiet at night. Overall based on expectations no real faults.

Lovely stay
We are two sisters travelling around Italy. Bologna in general felt very safe and relaxed. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was at a good location. 15 - 20 minutes walk from the train station and 8 minutes to the main square. The street where the hotel is located is fairly quiet. Just round the corner, there are lots of restaurants and a vibrant night scene. The room was comfortable. Small bathroom but adequate. TV, safe, fridge and hairdryer provided. The air conditioning was controlled centrally so it was fairly warm in the afternoon and a bit too chilly at night. The staff were friendly and accommodating. There is left luggage service. The breakfast was adequate. They served cereal, muesli, yogurt, croissants, boiled eggs, pancakes, cakes and drinks.

Bologna briefly
Quite a long walk from the train station. Arrived in the morning and room wasn't going to be ready until the afternoon so they held our luggage aside so we could start sightseeing. Room was very small but bathroom was good size and worked well. Air conditioning available but you have to ask them to turn it on. Wifi ok. Breakfast ok. Staff were all nice.

Good value hotel
Hotel situated on a street full of graffiti. Don’t let this put you off. It’s actually quiet and felt safe. Room ok. Not luxurious but comfortable and great shower in recently refurbished bathroom. Plenty of storage space and effective air con. system. Reception staff very polite and helpful. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the lady who sorts breakfast. Found her unhelpful and abrupt. Maybe some customer service training wouldn’t go amiss. Breakfast was basic but for the cost to stay at the hotel one cannot complain. Would we stay there again... yes!

This hotel offers close access to all attractions and is a reasonable walk to and from the train station. The front desk staff are quite friendly but others are a bit grumpy. The baggage storage could be more secure but we ended up with no problems so it turned out Great for us. Breakfast provides the normal selection for Italy. 3-star is a good rating.
