Needs to be updated and upgraded.
Check in was very easy. The desk manager was very friendly. We were assigned a room in the Annex which wss down the street from the main hotel and office. The Annex is in need of serious exterior work and interior needs upgrades. No phone in room you had to use a call box outside to contact the office if needed. When we arrived the room had an unpleasant odor and we had to air out the room by opening the slider which needed its windows washed. I then used Febreze to eliminate the odor.

I forgot an important and expensive item in my room. I called hours after I checked out to arrange its return. Initially I was given the run around: they would call back but never would. I persisted in calling with vague answers from staff. They said they didn’t return items by mail but would ask the owner. I expressed a willingness to pay for their time and shipping but their answer from the owner was no. So I hired a local shuttle driver at a high cost to pick up my item and bring it forward to me on the Appalachian Trail. I informed them of his name and that he would pick my item up. When he attempted to arrange a time they gave him the runaround but finally gave him a time. And when he arrived they were still rude and uncooperative with him! However he too persisted and I finally have my property back. In my humble opinion THESE PEOPLE SUCK!!!

The price was competitive for sure, but we were not housed in the pictured property, we were in the Annex across the road, Very muddy to get from the car to the room. The bathroom fan was unbelievably noisy, there was a distinct sewer smell in the room. The door between our room and the next was ill-fitting and we heard the snoring of our neighbor all too well, and his bathroom habits at 5:15am were very clear too. The refrigerator did not work, the lights above the bed did not work, and there were only two hooks in the bathroom, one of them broken. It has all the hallmarks of an unmaintained property. We would not stay here again, and it makes me question the whole Travelodge/Wyndham brand.

Check in was easy and efficient. The reception area was non existent, no chairs, no furniture , a big empty room. Possibly because it was in-between seasons and they were trying to get ready for the ski season. The bathroom, while clean, it needs some fixing up - like the wall paper and the floor of the shower. They don't serve breakfast, which is ok in the fall - but in ski season, that might be a deterrent. Although there is a coffee machine in the room and a small fridge - very nice and helpful.

Needed a place crash for a night. Chalet was perfect, bedroom was more than enough space. Bathroom was a bit small, but no biggie. My only complaint is that it smelled of smoking and there was a tray full of cigs outside of my room as well.

When booking the room, I chose to pay upon arrival. When we arrived to check in, the front desk said they had already run my card that was held. I asked for an additional pillow because our 8-year-old daughter almost with us. Front desk insisted that the four pillows should be enough because they were king size. Also when I booked, I had listed three people this king size room was what came up so I assumed there would be a cot or couch indefinitely extra bedding for the third person.The room itself smelled old (musty and stale smoke), possibly because of the wall to wall carpeting that contains such odors. Definitely out of date. The overall price of the room did not reflect the quality of the room. To top it off, there was an envelope on the table that had written on it, "tips appreciated". My tip for you all, it's not stay there.

This property is not really set up for drop-in tourist use. It seems to be a local long-term stay location. I'm sure it's fine for the folks living there, but the desk is not staffed and it is not reliably accommodating.

Very good location. A few minutes drive from hiking trailheads, restaurants and shopping. Refrigerator and microwave in room. Liked that supplied decaf for coffeemaker. Good room light for reading. Room was clean but quite badly run down. Bed was good but other furniture (eg, lamps) overall in need of upgrading. Few accessible electrical plugs.

Relaxing
Great place to stay! Amenities were perfect (coffee pot, fridge in room). Recently updated and comfortable! Staff was very friendly. My ONLY complaint is they need better pillows.

There was a large full garbage can about 20 ft from our room with a broken cover and flies all around it . We killed at least 5 in our room during our stay. We did not discover the can until our departure. Also, no ice or ice buckets. Had to request maid service. The entire property is in a run down condition.

Interesting...
On the plus side, great water pressure in the shower, linens were clean (if sparse) and room overall felt clean. Decent size table for eating and computing and beds wer comfortable enough. Room was quiet, other than having a dog barking intermittently right outside the glass slider - pretty startling the first time it happened! On the down side, sink drained incredibly slowly, lights were so dim you could barely see anything even with all of them on, the tv was slanted to one side and, because it was in a cabinet, could only be seen from one of the beds. Wifi was open, which is never a good thing! And not having anyone there when we were trying to check in after a very long day, even if the wait wasn't long, having to call someone to come over was really not fun.

This motel was disgusting. Filthy room, disgusting broken bathroom, broken air conditioning. We had to check out a day early. We want our money back at least for the second night which we did not use.

The room had a weird smell. The coffee pot did not work well. We found a fifth of alcohol in the freezer. On the web page it said on site laundry, not so.
