Located next door to the Equinox Golf Resort & Spa on the Manchester "Green," this rambling, stately, quintessential NE home contains everything you, your friends and your family will need during your Vermont stay. The home, recently restored, remains true to its roots with its original floors and glass blown windows while providing its guests comfortable amenities that will make for an exceptional Manchester experience. Located in the heart of Manchester's historic district, Miner Cottage is within walking distance to some of Manchester's finest hotels, eateries and shops. But if it's seasonal activities you're after, the house is just a short drive from Bromley (15 min.), Stratton (35 min.) and Okemo (45 min.) ski resorts, the Summer Festival Horseshow, Hildene (the Lincoln family home), the Southern Vermont Art Center, golf at The Equinox Golf Course or at Stratton, hiking, Fly-fishing, biking and other Southern Vermont activities. We booked Rick's home for an extended family ski vacation with grandparents and grandkids, and the home completely exceeded our group's expectations. It's a beautiful mix of a classic historic Vermont home with space and amenities to meet a modern family's needs. The first floor offered more than enough space for kids to play and roam, and the bedrooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Location was ideal- right next to the Equinox and very close to town- perfect for the non-skiers and for picking up food. Rick was one of the most accommodating hosts we've experienced. Incredibly communicative, accommodating, and thoughtful touches throughout the home and process. Thank you! We are definitely hoping to stay again! ##### Laura M. We rented beautiful, historic Miner Cottage for our daughter’s rescheduled wedding at Hildene. The layout and space in the house made it so comfortable and convenient when bridesmaids were primping, people were socializing and constantly stopping by. We had friends and family staying all over Manchester and our central location made everything go so smoothly. The house is absolutely lovely, the gardens are my dream and the kitchen has all the essentials. We will never forget our once in a lifetime experience and will always have a spot in our hearts for this gem of a home. ##### sally t. The antique house is being lovingly restored by Rick Anderson. The rooms are large with a soothing palette throughout that honors classic traditions. Rick has redone bathrooms, added contemporary appliances in the kitchen and laundry, included new bedding and wall-mounted TVs. All told, he has successfully married vintage elegance with modern-day requirements. A great heating system, a wonderful gas range and plenty of glasses, dishes, platters make entertaining a breeze.
