With renovation completed in June 2018, you will find a warm, modern ambiance that is perfectly situated less than 1 mile from the heart of Bend. This is a perfect space for a family retreat, a group of friends, or a family looking for the comfort of a home while away. - Now get out and play! Even though this is mentioned in several parts of the listing, it occasionally it gets overlooked; there is a mother in law apartment over the back area of the house where other guests may stay. There are no shared spaces and separate entrances. I do ask all guests to respect each others vacations by observing quiet hours between 10:00pm - 7:00am. The house was perfect for the 4 of us and could easily have accommodated 2 more people. The mattresses on the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The washer and dryer and all other appliances worked well. The bathrooms were small and the showers a bit outdated but everything worked just fine. We were able to drive into downtown Bend for shopping and dining. We drove to Mt Bachelor to ski each day which took 35-45 minutes depending on traffic. The neighborhood was quiet and an easy drive to all of our activities. I believe there were people in the upstairs suite but the noise was minimal and in no way disruptive.
