The home is beautiful and big enough for our large family. The pool table, foosball and ping pong tables were in steady use and the bikes were a great outdoor activity since there was no snow this year. The house was well stocked with everything we could need, especially the kitchen. Our grandchildren asked us repeatedly during the past year if we were going back the “big house in Sunriver”. We hosted a large family gathering, and despite the number of people, the house never felt crowded, offering ample space for everyone. The home was fully equipped with all the amenities we could need, and we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. Even when some family members decided to play pool at midnight, we couldn't hear any noise from the front room downstairs.As a traveler who requires ADA accessibility, it's often challenging to find truly accessible and comfortable vacation rentals. The roll-in shower in my bathroom was a tremendous feature and greatly appreciated. After my stay, I suggested two small improvements: a horizontal bar next to the toilet and a slightly lower bed for easier transfers. To my surprise and delight, the owners were incredibly responsive and promptly made both changes. It's wonderful to have discovered such a gem of a property that genuinely accommodates all ages and abilities. ##### Beth L. This was our first Christmas together in over ten years. The property had ample space for all of us. The open floor plan on the main floor is so nice to gather in! It was great that most of us had our own bathrooms. My mom had surgery just before our trip and was in a wheelchair. The ADA accessible bathroom was so helpful for her! The bunk room was perfect for the younger kids. The game room was part of the reason we chose this property to keep the kids entertained if the weather was too much. Which it did snow quite a bit! The highlight of the trip for some of the younger kids was sitting in the hot tub with hot chocolates while it was snowing. It was just a short drive to Mt.Bachelor for skiing one day. And of course the village was close by for ice skating and the 12 Sharc passes were great to have for a pool day. The double washer and dryers we perfect for everyone's wet snow clothes and swimming clothes. The kitchen had everything we needed for large family meals and Christmas dinner. We love to cook so that also meant we had a lot of food with us. The extra refrigerators in the garage were great to have! We genuinely enjoyed this property and would definitely stay again..the kids are already talking about a summer trip! ##### Adrianne H. The home was everything we needed for our large family. The kids especially loved playing foosball, pool and ping pong. We adults loved that there was a separate game room to keep the kids entertained. The large kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of space for multiple people to be in there at the same time. The house was nicely decorated, clean, very spacious, and in a quiet and scenic neighborhood. Even saw and heard wildlife during our stay. There was a gas station/market close by for groceries, etc. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. The beds were a little higher than your average bed but worked out well. I would mention that it may be difficult for a person in a wheelchair to be able to get in and out of the bed due to the height of the bed. Just something to consider. Unlike most places we’ve stayed, this owner provided “starter items, such as laundry detergent, soap, plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, kleenex, etc. Each shower had the mounted dispensers containing plenty of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. There were even some items in the fridge and cupboards that the previous customers left for the next customer and we did the same. It is a beautiful lodge. We had 17 and fit pretty comfortably. Great location, lots of bikes to use. Shark passes were great. Pickleball was a short distance away and that was a hit. Slightly discouraging things. There is a foosball table but no foosballs. There was pool table but all the sticks did not have working cues. The remote in the game room was missing and there were three other remotes in the house that the batteries did not work in them, so it made it hard to use the TVs. When I told the manager of the issues the response was: "On pool cue tips, foos balls or batteries...if you go to Camp Abbot Ace Hardware 8 min drive across from the village, they will likely have all that stuff and I'm happy to compensate you for anything you spend on it and your time to do that. Otherwise I don't have a fast way to get any of those things to you. The remote is probably stuck in a sofa cushion somewhere and you'd have to just search everywhere for it but I'm sure it's there somewhere, sometimes they turn up a month or two later after somebody reports one lost." The ACE did not have the foosballs or the pool cue tips. We ended up having to get the pool cue tips in Bend at Big 5\. Could not find any foosballs. Slightly disappointing that we spent over $6,000 for 3 nights and that was the response we got. Seems like if you advertise that you have all the stuff that there should be some sort of a checklist process for the next person. ##### Christi K. We had many enjoyable bike rides and there were enough nice bikes and helmets for everyone! The girls loved using the SHARC passes for the water park. And my daughters-in-law and I found the beautiful kitchen to have everything we needed for some great family meals. The patio across the whole back of the house was wonderful for our annual corn hole tournament.
