Welcome to "May The Forest Be With You," otherwise known as Bend Riverside Unit 202\. This sweet vacation spot sleeps 2 people with a full kitchen and handicap-accessible bathroom. You have 8 foot glass doors that give you an incredible view of the Deschutes River. Open those large doors, step outside onto your riverfront patio and take in the sights and sounds of the rushing river. The Bend Riverside Commons Condominiums line the Deschutes River and are directly adjacent to Pioneer Park. You have plenty of room to stretch your legs on our grassy patio or in the park next door. Take the riverside trail north or south for a refreshing taste of the outdoors. The proximity to downtown Bend cannot be understated. You can walk to numerous restaurants, pubs and downtown boutiques in under ten minutes. This riverfront studio is uniquely handicap-accessible. There are no steps to this unit. The bathroom is designed for guests who utilize wheelchairs. There are grab bars everywhere in the bathroom, and the tiled shower does not require you to step into it. On top of all that, it is also a pet friendly unit. Basic cable will be provided in the rooms, that means your basic set up of analog channels. You are, however, most certainly welcome to bring your own streaming device, all tv's in our units are flat screen with HDMI hook ups. The access to Pioneer Park and the river is great. This room is advertised as wheelchair accessible. It does have bars around toilet and in shower and the dining bar was low. However, bathroom very small and shower is too small for wheelchair transfers. I could not get under the sink or see myself in the mirrors. We removed box spring with permission because bed and couch were 6-8 inches too high. The staff was cool with what I needed but this room is more suited to an ambulatory person with ADA needs. It was so bad that my wife and I had to sleep on the couch. The air conditioner was also very loud. Additionally, the property makes it seem like you can walk out your back porch directly to the river; however, you cannot. You have to walk out around the side of the property to get to the river. The waterfall right there in the river is also so loud you can't even have a conversation on the back porch. It was a close drive to downtown, but overall this property was simply overpriced. Great location - walking distance to downtown , parks, restaurants, etc . Very clean . Reasonably priced . Cons - very loud upstairs tenants / residents .
