Inside, the home is modern and bright with natural wood floors, plenty of natural light, new interior paint, and new light fixtures and bedding to create a nice, homey feel. Settle into one of the super-comfortable couches in the living room and adjust to the leisurely pace of Sunriver. There is a 60' cable TV for watching your favorite DVDs, and a gas fireplace to make you feel cozy during the winter and on cool summer nights. The fully stocked kitchen is open to the living room, so you'll be able to cook and socialize at the same time. Three stools at the counter allow for closer company. A picnic-style wooden dining table will fit eight so that everyone can enjoy a meal together. And for the little ones, a Pack and Play Playpen is available for use. What's nearby: Just a five-minute walk to SHARC (eight passes are provided) and the Village at Sunriver, you'll have easy access to the best amenities at the resort. Sunriver is a favorite destination in Central Oregon, and for good reason - you can kayak, canoe, or float down the Deschutes River. Go horseback riding at the stables two miles away, or play golf on tthe many public golf courses in Sunriver! The Nature Center and Observatory, just over a mile away, is home to majestic birds of prey, and you can view the stars through giant telescopes on certain nights. Some fun destinations just outside of Sunriver include the Lava River Cave just a few miles north on Cottonwood and Benham Falls Trail for gorgeous summer hiking next to Class VI rapids! If the water draws your attention, consider a guided rafting trip through Sun Country Tours (you'll go on smaller rapids). For a slightly longer drive, head south 30 miles to Paulina Lake for an amazing volcanic lake with stunning views. This house is right in between the village and the SHARC. Can't beat that when you have two kids under 5\. There are bikes included, although they are older and you may want to bring your own if you plan on doing some long bike rides. They were sufficient for us. The bunk beds were fun for my 4 year old. We brought our own bed rail guard and portable crib but the house has these two things too. The kid games were a fun addition. We cooked the whole time we were there, with the exception of one night. The kitchen had everything we needed but could benefit from having some updated non stick pans and cooking spray. The hot tub was awesome and a great way to end the day. The master bedroom was comfortable and had everything we needed. Thanks for a great house, we will be back again!! ##### Sarah H. The layout of the house was great, tall ceilings, very light and the location couldn't be beat. The mattress in one of the rooms (non-master queen) dipped in the middle making it not as comfortable. And it could have been cleaned a little better (dust under couches and beds) and the deck was pretty dirty, but it's really dusty there so hard to keep decks clean. We would rent this place again, but hope they might consider replacing that mattress. ##### Lindsay M. Outdoor spaces were covered in pine pollen and Pineneedles. Inside was kind of dusty. Would not recommend it. Not a good deal for the money. ##### Jeff T.
