We really appreciated how clean the home was — that was a definite positive and made the stay feel comfortable from the start.We did want to share a few things that may help improve the experience for future guests: • The mattress in the main bedroom was uncomfortable. It felt saggy and you could feel the springs when lying down. The pillows were also lumpy and not very supportive. • The TV in the main bedroom didn’t work during our stay. • The drawers in the main bedroom didn’t open or close properly. • The toilets in both bathrooms struggled with flushing. • The Ecobee thermostat kept resetting to 66 degrees, even after we manually set it to 72 and selected “hold.” We use the same system at home, so it seems like there may be a programmed override in place. • There are train tracks directly behind the house, so train noise is noticeable — this might be helpful to mention in the listing for future guests.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and really appreciated the cleanliness — we just wanted to pass along this feedback in case it’s helpful going forward.Thank you again. ##### staci w. Ladder on the bunk bed is not secure. There is a train track directly behind backyard yet the train is quite (no horn blared). The trip included our family of 4 and my parents. The house had enough space for us all to be comfortable, checkin was easy, home well stocked with everything we needed. I was impressed with the quickness of a shower issue we had, I could not have asked for quicker service and that was really appreciated. Two couples stayed here with a labradoodle and did not feel crowded. A very well stocked kitchen, fenced backyard, A/C, and pleasant neighbourhood to walk the dog. The only downside was the poor communication. We arrived home one day and the garage door was open, as was the gate. This was disconcerting as we thought we had been robbed! Turned out it was lawn maintenance but we should have been told and seriously, who wants to listen to the lawn being mowed while on holiday! Mybe it would be better to schedule this between guest stays. All in all though it was a great stay and if I ever return to Bend I'd stay there again. ##### john g.
