It is a straight drive to Mount Bachelor. Walk right out the front door and into the heart of Bend. Drake Park, Galveston Street, Historic Downtown, and the Old Mill Shopping District are all just a few blocks away. Enjoy your vacation Bend-style in your home away from home with your entire family. Cozy up by the fireplace in the living room with a book. Watch your favorite shows or movies on the Apple TV. Cook a homemade meal in the fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Not too far from restaurants and Drake Park. About 18 min walk to downtown restaurants and shopping. The only issue we had was it was a little hot upstairs but we found a fan in the garage which helped. The kitchen had all we needed. And the beds were very comfortable. Great layout with two bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs. Two notes: upstairs main bedroom can get quite warm (there’s a fan provided) and the second upstairs bedroom with two beds does not have darkening curtains like the other one. The place itself was really nice for 6 people. Really comfy beds, roomy main floor and lots of silverware/dishes and kitchen/cooking gadgets. Everything is really close on bikes or walking.
