It wasn’t as good as a 4* I expected breakfast wasn’t included only other food available 8pm - 11pm The street outside was noisy with people shouting late at night and the area wasn’t very good not any places to eat or drink and nothing to do except walk

Great hotel, on the periphery of a housing area. That said nothing really close so only one local bar. However the hotel itself is lovely

The hotel room was very functional but dull. The dinner was mediocre and there were no easy alternatives within walking distance. Location was adequate but a taxi ride to the port was required, no other transport options were available.

Location was great for us as we were heading to Algecerias Port Authority. Room and lobby were appealing. Water pressure is outstanding to be able to take a relaxing shower.

Extra Daily Charges Stuck in The Elevator
Didn’t appreciate the extra 20 € per night we were charged upon our arrival. We were also locked in an elevator for quite some time ring the bell and calling the service number. No one answered. Once the elevator dropped multiple times we were able to get out. We told the front desk and there was no follow up to see if we were ok . Although they did place a do not use sign after. The stairs became our way to access our room afterwards. They were not kept clean. Several days and the same wrappers on the floor. No breakfast included here which was different from Our previous AC Hotel. The gym Was small an did have anything to wipe equipment down or towels to use. Who knows when the mats were last cleaned. The room was sufficient and we’re grateful we could find blankets as the bed was only made with a sheet. The common area was nice. We liked the location to great restaurants. Overall it’s ok just not a fan of the 20 euro per day extra charge when we booked and paid in CAD

Perfect value for money
Very kind staff, clean and spacious room with modern style. I was very pleased by staff on reception who made sure we had everything to feel comfortable. Parking was free and in the adjacent building but overall hotel is great.

The check in was easy the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The dining room was nothing special with it opening at 8pm. The breakfast was overpriced. The area around the hotel was suspect and not advised to go too far at night.

Great hotel. Spaciest clean room, big comfortable bed and bath tub, nice staff. I didn’t like that the restaurant and room service was available only after 8PM. There were only 2 outlets in our room and neither were bedside. The breakfast was sufficient but not amazing- for example the juice served was not freshly squeezed and most likely from concentrate, there was only hard boiled egg, no scrambled, over easy, soft boiled.. sausages were also strange (could just be a local custom thing)

Very good and comfortable conditions. The service is regular, to self-service. It's understandable given in the middle of New Year's holidays. However, if they make you go to the front desk to pick up the ironing machine on a regular date, that will be a minus.

What I like about this hotel is the location it is really it is close to Corte ingles shopping center, and it is close to the ferry terminal where you can get the ferries for excursions to Tangier, Morocco, Ceuta and so on. The staff is friendly and always in a good mood. What I don't like is that I tried to use the computer and printer of the business center and did not work it is evident that it does not have any maintenance or care. The hotel has a kitchen because it does not qualify as a restaurant, they only serve breakfast very basic, and dinner also very limited options, and basically more sandwich and hamburgers than anything, they do not serve lunch either. There are several restaurants near (walking distance) but are not good I can only recommend La Pampa Argentina Grill (very good). I recommend this hotel for short stays one, two or three weeks, my visit was three weeks for business purpose and I noticed that most of the people were also on business trips.

This hotel is a sure bet in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Great shower, nice views, quiet and helpful staff. They offered a small bottle of water upon our arrival, but no free water on the second day, even though we paid the same room price. Not a big deal, but it felt weird to be charged for our tiny water bottle upon checkout when, if we had left and someone else had come to stay, they would have had to clean the room plus they would have offered another free bottle of water.. The only other issue was the lack of nearby restaurants. You pretty much have to drive unless you order room service. I would still stay here again because everything else was great.

Excellent Decor and smart rooms,but Breakfast staff a bit lacking,Bar doesn’t open till 19.30 and No Restaurant till 20.00 if I had brought my children 20.00 is a bit late for Dinner. Didn’t eat in the Hotel for these reasons, must be losing business as I had to eat out for three days. Poor

Despite few requests, hotel refused to arrange special meal for few Muslim guests during Ramadan. Request was as simple as to have earlier breakfast or even small sandwich in the room at 5.00am before we fast. Would have expected Marriot to be more internationally adaptable for different cultures, religions and customers needs
