Not the best
The dress of the employee's was very sub par, sweatshirts and t-shirts with not sure what on them. Breakfast was not maintained or clean when we were there, could see some things were out but never restocked. Beds were comfortable! TV did not work.

The location was nice not far from grocery store or restaurants. When we got there was hoping that we may be able to checking in 230pm but our room was not even cleaned yet. So we went and did a little sight seeing for a little bit the lady that was there was rude. When we got back person who checked us in was on a personal phone call when we fist showed up still about 5 minutes early the room was still not finished.

Check in time 3pm. Was there at 330. No clean rooms in the hotel. Had to wait over an hour for one to get cleaned. Theft at the property. Mice running around. Our room was still dirty.

I wouldn’t recommend……
When we were checking, the employee walked to our room to see if it was clean. He came back and said it was ready. When we walked in the room I told my husband that it didn’t look like the beds had been made by a housekeeper. He went into the restroom and said the toilet was dirty. When I went into the restroom, there was one used bath towel hung over the shower rod. No other bath towels or wash clothes at all. My husband went to the front desk and told the employee about this. We moved to a different room that had been cleaned. We went to the hot tub and the water looked dirty and there wasn’t any chlorine smell. The next morning we went to the hotel breakfast and our shoes were sticky to the floor….so disgusting.

Hairs floating in hot tub, dirty towels left in pool area, breakfast closed a half hour early (9:30) so we were left with no food, breakfast area a mess, fitness room out of towels, water in dispenser & sanitizing wipes, looked like tv was stolen. Lobby bathroom out of toilet paper and hand soap. Our bed & towels were clean but we had mold on bathroom wall and very little toilet paper. In room coffee pot was dusty inside so I didn’t use.

Our room wasn't ready after 5pm and even after coming back it wasn't very clean and one of the outlets by the bed didn't work. Our phone rang in the middle of the night. Luckily the jacuzzi tub was really nice in the room.

There was rout and mold around the window blowing on us and we both felt sick. It was pretty clean but the hot tub could have used scrubbing around the jets they looked horrible. My husband is really sick right now since we left.

Wouldn’t let us have a blanket
The hotel was a bit dirty. The front desk guy was very sleep deprived and I felt for him but he wasn’t very helpful. Our room had a king bed, 2 flat pillows, a comforter and a sheet. We looked all over the room for a blanket and couldn’t find one. We went to the front desk and asked for a blanket and a pillow and the guy told us that we should have 4 pillows in the room as well as a blanket. We told him we only had 2 pillows and no blanket. He seemed really confused. He then told us that what we get in the room is what we get. Wow, I’ve never been denied a blanket at a hotel before. Once he left we asked the new person if we could have a blanket and a pillow and she was more than happy let us have them. The breakfast was decent but overall vibe of the hotel was a bit sketchy.

It was a decent hotel for the money. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It could use some updating, especially in the bathroom. It was quiet and located in a location close to Bemidji and lots of restaurants. Overall I’m satisfied with my stay there.

The pool and hot tub are dirty and a gross yellow/green color. The tv in our room didnt work, we had two of the 4 lamps that had no light bulbs. Making it very dark. Bed had dirt and hair on it when we came in. Theres a weird smell in the room. After working here years ago and staying here in the past we decided we will never be coming back. The standards just arent there anymore

Sketchiest hotel I've ever been in! Not safe!!
If you're looking at staying at this hotel please read the most recent reviews! I made the mistake of just clicking on reviews and seeing the best rated ones. This was the sketchiest hotel that we have ever stayed in! One man on the night time staff was asking for a beer and told us "I hate f*cking white people and Indians!" The room was not clean, there wasn't any toilet paper, and we did not feel safe staying at all! The location is not safe either! The clerk proceeded to tell us that we were in the most dangerous part of bemidji and that people had burned down the projects up the road (his words) we literally barricaded the door before we went to bed! We booked a two-night stay but left the next morning after. If we were not already tired from fishing all day and it wasn't already late, we wouldn't have stayed at all. We left that morning through the side door because we didn't want to risk going up front. I had my wife call to cancel the rest of the stay and they already knew that we were not in our room and the one man that answered first tried to tell lies and say that we trashed the room but we had pictures to prove that we didn't! I told him he was lying and he transferred me to the female manager. She was friendly and refunded us for one night. If you're looking to stay at this hotel it is not in a safe location and I would not recommend anybody staying here! This hotel should be closed down!!

The beds in the room were great. That's where the positives ended, unfortunately. The check in process took over 20 minutes for 2 rooms even though we paid in advance. The coffee pot in the lobby was empty. The woman who checked us in said they don't have adjoining rooms here, so we were given rooms across the hall from each other. The adjoining doors in each of our rooms said otherwise. The AIR CONDITIONER was set at 60 degrees in December, so we had to crank the heat first thing. That's when we noticed the spilled coffee and muffins INSIDE the heat register. Sticky handprints on the windows and the hanging photo art. Large clumps of hair on the floor and all over the bathroom. Also the pool was closed because they said the heat pump was broken. The kids were devastated. We were not part of the large group of hockey parents, but another guest said that was suspect considering the same thing happened to their group LAST YEAR when they arrived as well. Guests were smoking weed in the lobby late that night. The kids were asking why it smelled like skunk inside but not outside. Breakfast was ok but they were out of almost everything including coffee and waffle mix. The toaster was broken. No plates, only bowls. Check out was fast and easy. I would never stay here again and was embarrassed to have booked the rooms for us and another couple.

Poop stains on toilet inner ring. Bathroom smelled strange Room floor and bed were acceptable but room temp was set at 60F degrees on arrival. Candy wrappers and used napkins in hallway. Dark, uninviting hallway and lobby lighting. Old building, needs modern updating. Heater is not digital climate control. Parking area is very dark in some areas. Needs better lighting.

Location was good for what I had to do. There was no Tv one channel remote was gone tried two other ones that didn’t work. Seemed like a homeless was hanging around parking lot and in lobby???

The entire hotel smells like an ashtray and is not a non-smoking hotel. Some of the hotel staff were using illegal drugs while working. There were homeless people sleeping in the indoor stairwell at night. There was garbage and dirt on the carpeting all over the hotel. The pool was broken. There was not breakfast offered, despite being advertised as provided with our stay. There were dents in walls and the fixtures were old. The only good thing was the beds were comfortable, and one of the elderly maids was nice.

Room was clean. The back stairwell was completely gross. Stains on the carpet and garbage on the floor. The breakfast was not stocked properly. Yogurt was warm and people around me complained. People had to wait around to eat their breakfast because of the set up and lack of readily available food. The biscuits and gravy were very good.

Room itself was clean and comfortable. Bedding is good. The rest of the property hallways pool area etc was in need of help. Fitness area was dirty and didn’t have anything for me to sanitize with. Desk person at check in was fine the others shifts seemed less professional

Towels and sheets were clean, however top blanket was dirty. Area around the toilet and under sink not clean. Desk staff were helpful. Breakfast has been limited/poor the past couple of stays, but it appeared there was adequate staffing this time as opposed to guests having to heat up and fill the gravy, etc. It's a handy location near hospital and senior housing. Price is right.

Front counter people were friendly but not professional. THey hung out in back while we rang the bell and waited since they were having a loud profainity filled conversation. My friend was going to stay there as well, until they lost his information and gave away the room he was supposed to have. THe bed had a gash in it that just had a sheet over it and then on top of it, breakfast was bad.

Both staff members we dealt with where clearly not sober, like on another planet. We got back in after 10pm one night and there was a “party” in the lobby with some of the staff and other non hotel guests. Parking in back with little lighting then have to walk around the entire property to get back in as no doors would unlock. Dogs barking all day and night.
