The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space. Frederick Fitting, who brought the railroad to Bellville, built this beauty in 1863\. With 5 bedrooms (all on the 2nd floor), 3.5 bathrooms and abundant historical charm it encapsulates all that is Bellville. Uniquely decorated and welcoming ambiance make the home one of a kind. Walking distance to Bellville restaurants and shopping. Guests have access to the whole house. The BEDS were HORRIBLE! It was like sleeping on rocks! There was a nail coming up through the floor in my grandson's room, right beside his bed, when he got out of bed. There was NO plug in the bathroom sink in the master bath - I dropped my 75 small bottle of glaucoma eye drops down it and could NOT get them out! The oven knob is WORN off, and we had to Google for about 45 minutes before we could find a wall oven to even bake! Could not find outside lighting, so it was very dark at night coming in. The kids had so much fun exploring the house, with the cool grand staircase and the "secret" staircase and all of the ornately decorated rooms. The house was charming and fun both inside and out. We had a large group but there were enough kitchen supplies. It was also nice there was a dishwasher and laundry to wash dishes and dish towels.
